The Space Craft Systems Development and Integration Facility at NASA Goddard in Greenbelt, MD.
This is the largest certified clean room in the world. The gridded wall on the right is nothing but HEPA filters. The James Webb Space Telescope is currently being worked on here (in pieces).

CLEAN AIR is a section of an automobile air filter found on the streets of Havana. Collaged on the accordion fold pages are historical Cuban cigar rings, 1950’s Texaco road map of Cuba along with other found material overprinted with Cuban tobacco art.
The lithographs were printed from original stones at Taller Experimenta De Grafica, Havana, Cuba in the fall of 2003.

So I had the pleasure of being with a lovely pair of Grey Wagtails on my Local River, since last time with them I decided next time I would be not only water level but in the water with my lens only a few inches from the flowing river, I placed my seat in the water for it to be only 1 inch below the seating, tripod and lens levelled and carefully placed, I the put over me and the camera equipment a light weight bag hide, this was brilliant because the water flowed through the mesh. so the I could be comfortable then use the tilt screen and shot these images using live view. this worked very well. was able to monitor the bird and move the camera with ease. what a Wonderfull could of hours, the river had risen from a couple of day earlier making it easier as only a couple of rocks were still above the water line.

Saturday 12 November 2011 - Day 22 - Day trip from Lobuche (4,931m / 16,175ft) to Kala Pattar (5,545m/18,192ft)
A long day, trekking (too fast) out alongside and then over the Changri Nup and Changri Shar glaciers to reach Gorak Shep, and then a painfully slow trudge up to Kala Pattar (5,545m/18,192ft) - almost too exhausted to appreciate the stunning views back over Everest/सगरमाथा, Lhotse/ल्होत्से and Nuptse, and Pumori/पुमोरि towering overhead.

Floor cleaning paraffin pong, headache, chair-nicking French and Thukpa soup lunch at Gorak Shep, then the long walk back to Lobuche. With hindsight, I'd recommend overnighting at Gorak Shep rather than Lobuche - that would allow you to squeeze in Everest Base Camp too - although speedy Jake managed that in the company of the two Portuguese chaps we'd coincided with at Lobuche.
On the approach to Lobuche we could see cloud gathering in the valley below.... little did we realise that our fantastic run of perfect weather was almost at an end and that we'd be returning back into cloud tomorrow.

Eero Aarnio for Framac Chairs. Time to clean the chrome. I'm not going to use a commercial chrome cleaner. I'm using something a little gentler and a lot cheaper. I am also not worrying about getting the upholstery dirty. These are being recovered. Would love to have the option of keeping the original upholstery but the other chair's fabric is badly damaged. I have checked the chrome under the covers and it's clean. I don't want to pull them apart. The upholsterer can do that. I just want to clean as much of the chrome as possible and leave the original chairs for the guy to get an idea of the original look and use the cover as a template. This is the better of the two chairs. The following pics are of the worse chair. Always start on the bad one so you can do the better one when you are well and truly sick of it :)
