I found this pasted on an abandoned apartment complex at Westheimer and Dunlay in Houston, Read the yellow tape carefully, it says "chemical cleaning."
At the top you see an uncleaned squid.
At the bottom a cleaned squid.
At the right the disposals.
1. Cut the tentacles just before the eyes. You don't want the eyes. Then in the middle of the tentacles you will find a little beak (round little thingy, feels hard, that's the teeth). Take that out or cut around it, you don't want the beak either.
2. Take the inside from its body. Including this bone. Rinse well.
3. You can peal the dotted skin off too, but that's not really necessary.
That's it. Ready to cook. Quickly.

Working with High-Contrast films can be both fun and frustrating, but in the right developers and conditions they can be a lot of fun. I remember Eastman 5363 well, so having a chance to try out another newer version, in this case, Eastman 2369, certainly turned out some amazing results.

This is Nick Tobier, a fellow from Detroit who, having left his job as a bellhop, thought it was a waste of a good suit not to make use of it, so he makes it his business to go out on Sunday afternoons and clean bus shelters wherever he happens to be. I met him, broom and scoop in hand, travelling along Queen St. West (this weekend's project), stopping at each transit shelter, sweeping it clean and then moving along to the next one. Our new Roomba (770) starting its morning rounds. Neither Michele or I like vacuuming, so we purchased a robot to do it.

CLEAN AIR is a section of an automobile air filter found on the streets of Havana. Collaged on the accordion fold pages are historical Cuban cigar rings, 1950’s Texaco road map of Cuba along with other found material overprinted with Cuban tobacco art.
The lithographs were printed from original stones at Taller Experimenta De Grafica, Havana, Cuba in the fall of 2003.
