On a walk in the english countryside of Bedfordshire, England; I came across a sheep skull, wedged into a bush, in the middle of no-where. I took this is upon myself to clean it and photograph...as one does.

Gabor Vasko (gaborvasko.blogspot.com) was kind enough to let me use his camera to shoot Simply Clean, which was interesting, since it was a NIKON haha. Took some getting used to but its definitely better than mine. Anyway, Simply Clean 2010 was as I expected, bigger than everyone expected lol. There were awesome cars parked everywhere. At the gas station, in front of the stores, in front of other cars, it was nuts! Definitely a good time though, the guys at Reign sure know how to put on a show! Im definitely going to be checking out the next show they throw!

We can certainly use all as many volunteers as possible of all ages and abilities and we look forward to the possibility of working with you! We are all aware of the importance the health of the Chesapeake Bay hold to all Maryland Residents. Please help clean up the historic shoreline of Bear Creek and Charlesmont Park where both the British and American set up defensive positions during the War of 1812, Battle of North Point. The British also used this location to evacuate their wounded and POW’s. Charlesmont Park was also the location were the Veterans of the War of 1812 celebrated Defender’s Day for over 75 years! This event will be run in conjunction with American Rivers, Trash Free Maryland, National Public Lands Day and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay as part of annual Project Clean Stream Event.
Please join us on April 21, 2018 as we cleanup this historic shoreline. Registration will be located at the intersection of Park Haven and Gray Haven Road (Near Bear Creek Elementary School), Dundalk, MD 21222. Looks for the registration tents and the “Clean Bread and Cheese Creek Banners. Registration will open at 8:00 am, and the cleanup will run from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. We have also included a flyer for this cleanup for your use.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!

So here’s all my vintage dolls cleaned up and stuff. They all smelled pretty bad but after wiping off thick layers of dirt they smell perfectly fine lol. Allan cleaned up pretty well, which makes me sad cuz I reaaaaaaally wanted to rip off his head and put it on a Finnegan Wake body, paint his head blue and give him lilac hair. But hey, he looks pretty good asides from the ink on his face.
Misty has left me heart broken though since the top of her head is completely sheared off so unless I find some vintage hair to donate onto her I guess this is the third Misty I’ve come across with bad hair :/
All my Dawn dolls cleaned up pretty well though so yeah lol.

I'm taking a break from Flickr. In fact, you may have noticed that not only am I not posting photos, I'm also deleting them.
I'm doing a little house cleaning, and taking down the stuff I put up just because I thought I should post regularly. My job is utterly kicking my ass right now, and will be through the holiday (bah, humbug!) and I don't really have the energy to post right now.
Besides, I am working slowly on a new concept photo, and it's really really complicated and I'm not sure I can accomplish what I have pictured in my head. So any of my creativity goes to that right now. I hope to finish it soon and come back to Flickr with the results.
I'll still check in to comment and stuff, but probably won't be posting. Might do some more deleting...

A mallard preens and cleans itself.
The mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) of the family anatidae.
The mallard is a large and heavy looking duck. It has a long body and a long and broad bill. The male has a dark green head, a yellow bill, is mainly purple-brown on the breast and grey on the body. The female is mainly brown with an orange bill. It breeds in all parts of the UK in summer and winter, wherever there are suitable wetland habitats, although it is scarcer in upland areas. Mallards in the UK may be resident breeders or migrants - many of the birds that breed in Iceland and northern Europe spend the winter here.
Crystal Palace Park came from the Penge Place estate when, in 1854, the Crystal Palace was moved from Hyde Park (where it was set up in 1851 for The Great Exhibition).
The Crystal Palace was designed by Joseph Paxton, who also played a role in the relocation and designing the new site with its Italian gardens and terraces.
The area waned in the late c19th, and despite hosting the Festival of Empire in 1911, the managing company declared bankruptcy. In 1913 the Earl of Plymouth purchased it to save it, and a public supscription was raised to purchase it for the nation.
It was a naval training ground during the Great War, after which it was the first Imperial War Museum.
The 1920s saw a programme of restoration and rejuvenation, but 30 November 1936 an office fire broke out and the building burned down.
Since then the Park has hosted various events and partial development. Today it is primarily a public park.
