[SHORT STORY] -----> There are so many things we take for granted but are awesome in our lives. I decided to create another project showing all of the things I'm thankful for in the year 2011. I hope I keep this up.
[LONG STORY] -----> I was actually born in a "3rd world country" Cameroon, in the West Coast of Africa and I came to the US when I was 11 years old. I was the kind of person who always appreciated the small stuff, like having lunch at the cafeteria at school, while the other kids complained about it. I enjoyed seeing the diversity of kids since I only saw people who looked like me. I have an American mother so I knew of the great things this country offered. But in the same vein having an African father grounded me to the realities of this world. This project is an attempt to get back to those days. I don't want to let cable TV dictate how awful life is, when in reality we all have far more than others do in other parts of the world. Yet with far less, many people still find ways to be happy.

Ya, this was taken awhile ago, but I had to share it, because it's epically clean. A note to myself that it can happen.
shelves i have to go through.....i have 2 shelves of glue books the black books.....books with pictures...wrapping papers......books to alter.....hey does anyone need a national geo mag........at one time i had ever issue from the mid 50's to about 2004........that's a lot of magazines.....old dtudio corner already cleaned out and moved...but the national geo mags are still there and i think i have to take them.....i once had the whole complete set from 1959 till about 1999 and i left them in an apt. cuz i just couldn't move them.....
this was my first studio space in my old house...de basement....i adding photos of studio's that i had and what the new one is shaping up into.....i hope i don't add to many photos...
