There are various causes of water damage such as leak, clogged drains and building problems. But the mainly vital and hazardous cause of water damage is leak. A busted supply line/leaky pipe, a leaky roof, overflow of water from a sink or bath tub, and the breakdown of a machine that carries water are some factors. There are two types of leaky pipes, one that drips gradually and/or only when water is passing through the pipe and one that produces a constant spray of water. Leaks that occur only when water flows through the pipe are hard to detect because the water has a chance of drying. There are some tips to be followed to decrease water damage caused by leak.

I am afraid that my ‘Tipsy Tuesday’ is more Tuesday than Tipsy! :( I have been sick for that last five days and so my wine and medicine won't be mixing. I do however have a habit of keeping and reusing my bottles, so during a regular cleaning I grabbed my camera … HTT anyways!

This shot was really emotional to take - it's from along the former front line of the battle for Mostar, with building work going on all over the area, even after more than 13 years after the war.
As I wrote before in my earlier pics from Mostar, the hopeful feeling of seeing things rebuilt and people being so friendly lets you see that there are always other options than bitterness and hate.
Here it feels that you can clean out the past and make room for better things to start anew.

Every time we do an instrument change, we clean the primary mirror with CO2 snow.
Snow cleaning takes liquid CO2, converts it to dry ice inside the cleaning wand, and uses it to blast a target clean. The dry ice sublimes directly into a gas, so it leaves no residue. The dry ice particulates do a good job of removing dust and other particles from the surface of the thing being cleaned, but doesn't do much for other contaminants like water stains, fingerprints, etc.
CO2 snow cleaning is a net-zero process. The liquid CO2 is extracted from the air, and using it to do snow cleaning puts it back. Zero gain, zero loss. And no by-products or residues. Can't beat it.
So you probably saw the pics of my Savers doll finds and here they are cleaned up. I fully intend to rebody both the Fashion Fever and Barbie Basic but I’m too lazy to play musical bodies atm.
My full blown doll collecting began as Fashion Fever started so finding Kayla was a huge nostalgia trip for me, though I did wonder at the time why both the dark skinned girl in both FF and Cali Girl had the exact same face but different names heh. Being a bit older I can appreciate her face screening a bit more now than when I first saw the FF and got upset that they got massive balloon heads… (collecting Monster High deflated that idea lol)
And yeah, Barbie Basics got me back into 1/6th at least partially so I did regret not picking up more of the girls when I had the chance.
And Secret Spells Kayla just reminds me to be on the hunt for all of the Raquelle bodies I can find.

PS Actually I cheated here. By the time I had cleaned the sensor those clouds had burnt away so I retouched the hair out on one of my original photos in Photoshop.
Having removed the hair, I took photos of just the blue sky and examined them closely for signs of contamination and am pleased to say there were just a few tiny spots which I shall leave..
