A tip to anybody else trying to do Project 365 - if you are going to pick a colour pick an easy one, if there is one. I am finding Blue a bit of a challenge.
I don't recall where I first came to know of Lisa Bettany but it was probably on TWIP, a podcast I listen to. SHe has launched a site dedicated to the project 365 idea. Check it out, it is called Mostly365.
Today's photo is most definitely Blue. Can you guess what it is? It is a set of paint chips. Since the title of the paint product is called Clean and Playful, I added some noise to add some interest.

These guys will use water jets to clean the surrounding areas such as the case here. It's surprising how a little high powered jet spray can liberate so much dirt and grim. This is just at the bottom of my flat at the carpark. It's a common sight here in Singapore. My first attempt at monochrome, previously, I'd only convert to grayscale for B&W. A whole lot of difference.

The past 2 weeks I've been getting a sour smell in the kitchen. At first I thought it was the fish sauce, so I put the fish sauce away, but the smell was still there. I just couldn't figure it out. And then yesterday night I decided to clean out the rice cooker and I discovered that there was a run off cup on the rice cooker that was designed as if it was built in. Turns out that all the left over rice carbohydrate filled steam water had been sitting in that cup fermenting for god knows how long. And to think I've been eating rice twice a day. I don't know how much I've shaved off my life.
The babies are now accomplished aviatars, although they are still following mom around a lot and making so much noise. I removed the nest from on top of the deck light and cleaned the siding. What a mess! Still, I have been reluctant to get rid of this nest for some reason. Well now it too is getting a good cleaning on the corner of my railing.

The metal parts were easy and I just hit it with some steel wool. There's still paint on the sides, but I'll get that with some turpentine at some point.
