Crop circles started when Aliens started experimenting with weed eaters. Human experimentation came soon afterwards.
This building's story can also be found on Things To Do and See in the Worland, Ten Sleep, and Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming
First church in the basin:
March 14, 1901, Rev. L.C. Thompson, Rev. E.E. Tarbill, Mortimer Lewis, J.W. Carpenter, Kate Lynch and Mark Warner signed papers incorporating the Methodist Church of Ten Sleep and accepted land from David Moses. The community raised $600, supplementing $300 given by Extension Society of Philadelphia. The building started in 1901 by volunteer labor with lumber donated by Milo Burke, was completed in 1904 and dedicated January 8, 1905. Each assisting family was given a lot in the cemetery, where many pioneers rest. The church was moved to a location near the Ten Sleep Rodeo Grounds (the sign indicates present location) in 1925 where it remained until 1975 when it was moved to Circle J Youth Camp in Ten Sleep Canyon.
This is posted specifically for two of my groups. It fits perfectly into Nashville in the Early Days (see link at right). I am also posting it in West High School, Nashville, Tn (That link is over on the right too.) Two of my West High Classmates are listed as part of the production crew. Pam Pyle was stage manager and Lee Hyatt was the electrician. The Circle Players were a "little theatre" group. They did their plays in the round while the Community Playhouse used a conventional stage.

Again, this image was created at the same time as 9 Circles Green using the same plates. This version seems more formal, as the green is a more organic colour, softening the effect.

I love the look of rust. I think it adds depth and character to everything it touches...even artwork. Shown here are some rusty details from Preston Jackson's "Flight of the Cakewalkers" displayed in Liberty Park along the Illinois River in Peoria, Illinois.
