Just got me a chopper and I'm feeling pumped!
Another Iron Forge entry. I've used the seed part 2 times, not counting the biker minifig.
No its not about to crash, its refilling the water tank to fight bushfires, luckily this dam was close to the fire so it took under 7 mins to return, but this dam was surrounded by trees making this even more impressive.
I recently brought my IRL Gazelle to where I am currently living and it... well.. it broke :/
Anyway, instead of simply rebuilding it, I decided it was shit and started again with version three. Here it is then, the third reproduction of this bird in LDD at 1/31 scale. This one features a number of improvements on its predecessor, those being: a fully transparent canopy rather than an opaque cockpit with clear plates attached; a more appropriately sized fuselage which sits lower to the ground; an improved engine block.
There are lots of other parts to this which I prefer as well, but those are the main points.

Stopped by the radio control airfield Saturday for a short time. Beautiful day, lots of guys enjoying the weather while flying their planes and maintaining social distancing. Camera did not do a very good job of tracking these speedsters so not the sharpest and most are cropped quite a bit since so high/far way. Still fun to watch.
I don't usually go for the agents theme, but I thought they did an extraordinarily great job on it. The gunship has many play features, two cockpits, wings that fold out toward with the push of a sliding mechanism built into the tail, a wench to lower a person out the bottom of the craft, and my personal favorite, anti rotating chopper blades! Yeah, really, the blades rotate in opposite directions! These are controlled by a knob on the bottom of the gunship you can turn. All in all, a very fun, interesting and original set.
Better days are yet to come for this Seventies icon, maybe...

Perfect North Slopes near Lawrenceburg, Indiana. I saw this chopper in the parking lot at a recent car show and felt compelled to shoot it. While it is cool enough to have been in the show itself, I saw no indication that it was.
