Just got me a chopper and I'm feeling pumped!
Another Iron Forge entry. I've used the seed part 2 times, not counting the biker minifig.
I don't usually go for the agents theme, but I thought they did an extraordinarily great job on it. The gunship has many play features, two cockpits, wings that fold out toward with the push of a sliding mechanism built into the tail, a wench to lower a person out the bottom of the craft, and my personal favorite, anti rotating chopper blades! Yeah, really, the blades rotate in opposite directions! These are controlled by a knob on the bottom of the gunship you can turn. All in all, a very fun, interesting and original set.
For a MOC-off with Legomaster667Davies
Don't have any Nam stuff so had to improvise, I'd have liked to have made it with olive green cloth but I couldn't find any... ;)

When I went to Bricks by the Bay, I had meant to bring two MOCs. This is the one I forgot at home. D'oh. I've long thought that the torso of the Ooni Beast from the notorious Galidor line looked like the gas tank of a custom chopper, so I was inspired to build this. All 100% LEGO, though there are some dodgy techniques being employed. For example, there are no dark red 1x2 click hinges with the hinge in the middle. I used a red one and camouflaged it with a bit of dark red sticker on the seat. Also, the 2 cheese slopes making the point of the seat are held on with dark red sticker bits from official LEGO stickers. And I cut rigid tubing for the brake levers. Clearly I'm not a purist.
Sunny day, going out flying with Torvald and his chopper. Those clouds were coming in from the west but we made it back just in time before the rain. www.noraviation.no
It took a run down the platform, but I just caught HNRC 20311 & 20314 T&T GBRf 20901 & 20905 heading through Derby on 08/12/18 on the 7X08 working from Litchurch Lane Works (Bombardier) to Banbury. It was an hour early; the reason for the run! They went to Chaddesden Sidings and reversed.
