Hey Max, let's start maintenance work!

In an old garage a mechanic is working on a chopper motorcycle for maintenance. The faithful red cat Max look at him curiously, radio tuned on classics, sounds blues songs.

I have still inserted a couple of Modulex bricks as small parts boxes.

The wooden walls of the garage are built with a technique shared by Ralf Langer, thanks and credits to him!

"So there we were, just flying over the jungle, when all of the sudden we were crashing down right into it.

"RPG Incoming!"

"We're hit! We're goin' down!"

"Brace yourself for impact!"

We hit the ground pretty hard. The chopper cleared through the thick jungle and the rotors were shredded to bits. We all climbed out of the chopper, only to be bombarded with enemy fire.

"Take cover!"

"Watch your right!"

"Take out that RPG!"

So that's where we are now. I hope I can come out of this alive."

A Chopper on Ice

Description: Damselflies resemble dragonflies, but are actually separate entities, even if related closely, also being Odonatas, and are no less rare, at least in some places of the planet. Most damselflies share the feeding habits of dragonflies, consisting of an insectivorous diet. Not only that, but they also possess an exceptional vision, being able to see in all directions except directly from behind. The main difference layman people should watch out for when discrimating a damselfly from a dragonfly lies in the wings. NORMALLY (notice the emphasis on this word), damselflies rest with wings closed, while dragonflies always rest with wings open. Some facial traits can also be seen as a difference to more experienced individuals.

Feeding habits: Predator.

This is the mill that is making my triple trees, head set and brackets for my chopper. I took this shot a little while ago for work as a possible catologue shot.

The frame is almost complete just waiting for the brackets for the rear axle to be milled then i'll weld them on. Then i can mount the rear wheel, which will enable me to fit a fixed fender and position the seat.

I lost the drawing i had, but i'll try get another shot uploaded this week that gives a better idea of how it will look ;-)

Have a great week !!

During COVID, Like so many others, I've turned inward, so, a metal sculpture in our living room, we named "Chopper", got a new, menacing look.

When I grew up in the seventies, only the rich kids had Choppers

Pirate's chopper & mobile landing platform

.

"Modified from surplus farm helicopters, these small and handy aircrafts are used to scout the toxic ocean surface - mostly in attempts to spot shipwrecked sailors. However, some rogue treasure divers have begun mounting illegal scanners that can reach deep below the water surface, hoping to be able to find precious loot more easily.

These choppers are either deployed by mobile carrier boats, or from more commonly used concrete pontoons. These mobile landing platforms can be easily towed by the average pirate ship."

.

Yet another build in the series - been wanting to expand into the aerial aspect of maritime settings. Mostly inspired by classic Lego Town sets as well as the German Fa 330 from 1943.

Meet Chopper, my friend's new colt who was 5 days old when this image was made. One of the great themes of Easter is new life, so this is my offering to remind us that Christ died and arose so that we can have new life in Him.

I am not very skilled in animal photography, especially horses who run the minute you approach them with a camera. I am going to "study up" and go back and try again. I would have preferred to not have his legs cropped off, but I wasn't fast enough on the trigger! I think this image does show his magnificent musculature even at this tender age. By the way, he is a quarter horse and will be used to run barrels by his 50+ yr.-old owner, who has done this all her life and can't get enough of it even now.

My effort for Macro Mondays on the theme of Kitchen.

City of Stanton Classic Car (and bicycle, motorcycle, truck) show. One thing you can say about Stanton is that this city has character and ambiance.

I'm so glad they finally made Chopper (C1-10P) in 6-inch scale. This grumpy astromech from Star Wars Rebels is my favorite droid in the Star Wars universe. I of course had to buy a Hera figure to go with him!

Better days are yet to come for this Seventies icon, maybe...
