I know it isn't the greatest shot, but...take into consideration I had to use all 10x of my zoom, it was cloudy AND snowing! :)
BR Blue 20107 under the lights at Banbury station in 2015. It was en route from Old Dalby to West Ruislip with a new S-Stock London Underground train.
Locomotive: British Rail Class 20/English Electric Type 1 20107.
Location: Banbury station, Oxfordshire.
I saw this ornament in a shop in Hahndorf SA.
It is made from nuts and bolts, washers, bits of pipe and screws etc.
Shot in front of one of those 5 in one light reflector kits using the white translucent piece.
I waved an LED light panel around in front for 10 seconds to light it up.
Brick Sketch 50! I figure this one should be special: (1) It's my first full-bodied character; (2) it was my most technically challenging build; and (3) it's even got an action feature!
An unidentified Class 20 loco and brake van at Stirling in July 1969.Not the best quality but a nice reminder of what once was.
20 107 and 20 311 head 7X10 04.22 Banbury to Derby Litchurch Lane past one of the hides at Croxall Lakes.
The shot using the flash was taken as the train approached as the available shutter speed (with flash) wasn't fast enough to stop the train.

"Come with me if you want to live"
Another fun little build ; )
Head is custom printed for me, you won't find it in Light flesh usually.
Taken at the NEC Birmingham Motorcycle show.
I make no excuses for this image being photoshopped, it need to be! It had too many distractions however, the machine and the pizza stand haven't been added or moved from the original image, it was just the bike stand, striped carpet, roof and a couple of bystanders removed.
I don't normally alter images in this way but I just love the colour in the bike and the setting of the pizza stand in the background.
Leading the empty stock from a Vintage Trains private charter, 20189 heads towards Small Heath with 5Z34 Birmingham Moor Street to Tyseley Standard Gauge Steam Trust, with 47773 on the rear. On the right, 66778 Cambois Depot 25 Years prepares to depart with 6H33 Small Heath Lafarge to Bescot Down Side Yard.
First go at a helicopter. I don't usually do vehicles but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. The scene is loosely based on a Bond film.
More Photoshop futzing, with the original image (see comments below) being of a colleagues Cat Chopper scale model that I borrowed and photographed previously.
20 107 and 20 118 make a spirited start from the up goods loop at Melton Mowbray following its reversal movement. The working is 7X09 11.47 Old Dalby to West Ruislip.
Here is Nick Chopper, my Tin Woodsman. Despite being a Wizard of Oz fan I didn’t feel like getting any of the Tinman dolls since all the costume wearing ones have flesh toned bodies with painted hands and the all plastic one has bad articulation.
But hey he turned up in a Savers bag for a cheap price, plus my colour changing skills have been upped so I spray painted his body entirely silver and now he can wear trendy lip liner with modern clothing.
He’s my third Wizard of Oz Ken doll, after my Winkie Guard and Cowardly Lion, though the Lion isn’t with me right now. As a funny note, the Tinman in the book went on to rule Winkie territory after killing the wicked witch so I guess he’s in good company…
