Lovin' the flavor of these. It's sorta like a cross between the tangy salt and vinegar chip with the sweet flavor of BBQ. And who doesn't love good ole fashioned New Orleans Voodoo?

My chip stack at Habana yesterday, after eliminating two of the five players. When it got down to Frank ("the Tuna") and me, we jacked up the blinds to 100 and made it straight ante. Sadly, I did lose -- but I put up a good 45-minute fight for it, which is impressive considering that the Tuna's a SERIOUS poker player, and I barely pay attention to the game typically.

I crave junk food. Since I've been reducing my junk food intake, I've taken to photographing things I crave.

Not all raw vegans are into these because of the corn. I adore them. I tend to make them differently every time, and there are plenty of google-able recipes out there. The only requirements are flax seeds and corn. I used some almonds, frozen corn, tomato, cilantro, onion, garlic, salt, and green peppers. I threw everything that wasn't flaxseed into the food processor for a few minutes. I emptied the mixture into a bowl and added the flaxseed. I let it soak for about an hour. Spread it out thicker than you think you should (it will get reeeeaaaally thin once fully dried) on to one of your smooth jerky/fruitleather sheets that come with your dehydrator (I've read tutorials about using bags from cereal but I've yet to try one) and let dry for a day or two. I wish I'd added more salt, but otherwise these turned out great.
