"This place was a surprise. We wanted some fish and chips while we were at Deal and we came to Beach Street. On the corner on the Sea Front was the Sea View Restaurant and Takeaway. Sure they had tables and chairs, and a pleasant waitress, if that was what you wanted, but I wanted a bag of Fish and Chips to take away and eat on the Sea Front on the other side of the road.It was about 12:30 and was apprehensive about there being no other customers in the area. I do not know why!The Fish and Chips supplied for takeaway were actually wrapped in paper, not those silly pc cardboard trays!They were all fresh, with great flavour and so were the portions! Go there for some great British Sea Side fodder."

"Make sure you go out of your way to taste perhaps the best fish & chips on the South Coast. You cannot beat this new restaurant (& takeaway) for quality, quantity and taste. Good quality wine is so reasonably priced you tend to drink more than you should. Throw in the views and you are on a complete winner. Judge for yourselves, give it a try - I guarantee you will return. "

"Traditional no nonesense seafront "Chippy" with a restaurant, we popped in on a Saturday lunchtime, very busy but we secured a table, not a huge menu but Fish and Chips were excellent. Great fish, non greasy chips,obviously cooked in very clean oil worth a visit if you like Fish and Chips and are in Deal."
