A couple of kids out enjoying the snow on their Flexible Flyers welcome the opportunity to see the inside of a locomotive. And maybe a chance to warm up as well.

I see this truck all the time, original patina, chevy retro vintage coolness in one photo. 100% need to catch the owner and do some kind of shoot with this.

After living in Fond du Lac for several years, my parents bought a home in Waupun so my father would be closer to his employer. Here we see moving day and the removal of a avocado fridge and delivery of a more conservative white model to better suit my mothers tastes. After a long day of work both parents are about to sit down for a much deserved beer. Of course my mother has already hung her plants in the front window in her own macrame hangers that were all the rage at the time. (The garage door is in the back as the house was on a corner lot on a cul-de-sac.)

I've added this to some classic car groups and hope the term "car" might be interpreted flexibly in this instance!

This Chevrolet 3100 Advance design pickup truck, looking like it's been abandoned in a field, was actually at the Marsh Farm Motorfest. This is 3 exposures with -1+ stops bracketing, then Photomatix for HDR and tonemapping, and finally Photoshop for the finishing touches.

Traveling westbound on West Broadway at Laurel St.

Evening is fast approaching and thunderstorms are rolling in. The warm, humid air is cooling off just as things start to heat up at Big Johns in the Fond du Lac County Park. The beer is always cold and seems to flow with ferocity as the locals escape the eyes of the local police and campground residents are drawn to the lights and noise.

This was one of my entries for the Lego Ideas Vintage car building challenge, that I now built in real bricks. You can easy see, that I was mainly inspired by the Chevy Advance. As a participant of the contest I wasn't allowed to completely rebuild the truck. Since this was third person ID, it would have been against the rules.

Of course I made some slight changes to the digital model, especially regarding the wheels. But above all I finally replaced the guitar of the guy in the back of the truck with a banjo, which fits much more the style of the car.
