this house was built in 1875, it belongs to my grandpas uncle, I stumbled upon it by accident, I stopped to take a picture of the house across the street, and my car was half on the road, and half on this lawn, and I look over and there's a sign with my last name on it.
it's a strange feeling to meet family you've never met alone, and feel right at home.
These are hard to photograph as the squirrels usually catch them before you see them. Inside the prickly coat is a chestnut (the kind you roast on an open fire)
Speaking of squirrels, I've been seeing them lately planting oak trees in my BACKYard. I'll be pulling them out next spring.
Although my window hasn't got a view on a idyllic landscape or a wooded area, there is still more than enough to enjoy when I open my curtains in the morning.
When I looked outside my window some weeks ago, I saw morning glory broken into different colours.
I was used to a transition from black to grey to dark blue and if I was lucky eventually light blue, but I hadn't seen this before.
I grabbed my camera and after some raw editing I came to this:
