This house almost belongs to my friends who are going to buy a whole old farm in the contry. It was very pleasant to lie under this impressive chestnut tree. (I raked some of these leaves myself! ;-) )View On Black

The site has been declared a Pioneer Farm, meaning that the original families have maintained continuous ownership of the property for at least 100 years. Samels Farm has also been placed on the National Register of Historic Places due to the numerous Native American artifacts discovered from several unique cultures - some dating back to 9000 B. C.

Firstly in regard to this video we are simply a community using the legal tools available to us to fight our corner against a development that we feel is an inappropriate use of a local landmark site. Colour, creed or religion does not enter into the argument, just the knowledge that any such development will cause congestion and noise in our already crowded streets whilst bringing no benefits to the wider community in either facility or economic terms.
We still have a little time left to add some more weight to our campaign.
Please visit the link below if you would like to submit your objection to the conversion of this historic public house to a mosque. You will find instructions here on what to do next.

Trees are always lovely - old and dying or healthy and thriving. Although some are a little annoying!! Our next door neighbour has this huge chestnut tree growing in their back garden and it gets bigger each and every year .... this has always been giving me a bit of a headache as I am continually sweeping up those big leaves!! Maybe, I should box them up and return them!!
Thankfully, I won't be doing this for too much longer!!
Our Daily Challenge ~ The Giving Tree ....
Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all.
Samels Farm has a large collection of antique farm equipment, and original buildings including a machine shop, barn, and homestead. Due to the bounty of fresh grass and wildflowers, animals are common visitors. This does stopped by for an evening snack before dashing into the woods.

360° panorama of our neighborhood late this morning. I shoveled snow but there wasn't much to do (which made my back happy).
