The images in this set where taken of the Chester Odeon on the 25th Jan 2015. Construction has begun on Chester’s old 1936 Odeon cinema which is set to be transformed into a new world-class theatre, library and cinema.

Tweaking a shot I did two years ago. This time from the opposite side of the tracks, and with different light placement. Not bad overall, but still more room for improvement.

Sigue una ruta regular y forrajea en la vegetación baja y densa, especialmente mediante salidas hacia arriba para atrapar insectos del envés de las hojas y las ramas, particularmente abejones, homópteros y hormigas.
Comportamiento
Son solitarios o forman parejas.

Prefiere la vegetación densa a lo largo de las quebradas y las márgenes de los bosques.
Distribución
Es una especie residente local poco común al norte del lado Caribe; llega hacia el sur hasta las cercanías de Turrialba y Limón. Se localiza desde las bajuras hasta cerca de los 800 m.. Localmente asciende hasta los 1000 m. en el lado noreste de la Cordillera de Guanacaste.
Distribución fuera de Costa Rica
Se encuentra desde el este de Nicaragua hasta Costa Rica.

Estado de amenaza
Es considerada una especie bajo amenaza de extinción, debido a la pérdida de su hábitat por la deforestación. Está protegida y regulada por la Ley de Conservación de la Vida Silvestre No. 7317, la Ley Orgánica del Ambiente No. 7554 y el decreto No. 26435-MINAE.

Descripción científica
Mide 12 cm. y pesa 11 grs. Se parece a un Empidonax en tamaño, en la forma y en patrón, aunque con mucho mayor colorido. Carece de rabadilla amarillenta en los Myiobius. La cabeza es más o menos gris oscura, algo teñida con oliva en las hembras. Los anteojos blancuzcos se presentan incompletos. La espalda es verde oliva con el tinte ocráceo. Las alas son fuscas, las barras alares y las márgenes de las secundarias son de color ante ocráceo encendido. La garganta es blanca anteada. El pecho es ocráceo y pasa en forma gradual a amarillo relativamente brillante en el abdomen. La maxila es negra, la mandíbula es color carne con la punta negra y las patas son grises.

I don't remember how many times I have been in this beach, finally I got what I have been visualized for a long time. Thr rising high tides made the treasure chest as a unique foreground for this scene, and the burning sky was just a bonus.
