Working on some MELON shots today....may get one posted this evening.
I'm not a big chess player by any means, but I wanted an authentic scene for this shot, so I turned to Google. This is actually the last move in a match that became known as The Game of the Century, where a 13-year old beat a renowned chess master.
Tessa stood in for little Bobby Fischer.
Strobist info: 580exII at 1/32 into 43" umbrella, camera left. LP120 at 1/32 off white wall behind subject.
Took like 20 shots to get the King right where I wanted him to be, but I like what came out. Share your thoughs please.
