I usually never showing works before starts a contest stage. But will be made exception this time. Improbably beautiful contest "Portfolio" hosted by Pona can’t have continuation. It is very bad news, but I hope that all will be OK.

The task: to do work in steams, to represent chessmen which battle among themselves. Cezarita became my partner in this task, and I am very glad for this)

So, "Checkmate". O-Umi in a role of the Black Queen, Steffi in a role of a White Pawn.

‘Soborka’, or, officially, the Sobornaya Square, is the place in historical centre of Odessa where for many years chess lovers are meeting each other to play their favourite game.

Beyond the business district of Chinatown in Singapore, these elderly Chinese men a.k.a. uncles were playing their favorite board game, the xiangqi (Chinese chess).
