Long before it as an affiliate of United Airlines flying a fleet of regional jets, Air Wisconsin was a commuter airline serving smaller cities in Wisconsin and Indiana. Back to my urban series today with this handsome male.
His territorial patrol took him past some reasonably well used roads and whenever a car would pass he would always jump into the bushes or behind a wall to hide. Once the car was gone, he would slowly re-emerge to check the coast was clear before starting his patrol again.
I often wonder how many of those cars left wondering what I was doing lying in the middle of the pavement...

After checking out the river from one end to the other and back again looking for the Pacific Loon, instead I came upon this Grebe. He took several turns back and forth posing for me before heading off into the shadows across the river for his nap.

Another shot I managed to take in the village as we walked to make our way down to the Chambal River for our River Safari with the 500mm,capturing what to me was a real eye opener of the reality of Indias have nots.This young child caring for her sibling while standing barefoot in the street and but a child herself.
