Had to go and have a meeting with my Estate manager today just to make sure everything is ticking along nicely.
You know how it is when you own half the county of Essex one can easily allow things to happen that shouldn't .
And back in the real world here you find me outside an Estate office posing lol
Checking up, it looks like it really is 67212- ex 43-50064, an SNB-5. Civil as N40092 with the Confederate AF here.
I have been to the doctor. He has been checking up on everything. Everything is fine except from my heart. My heart beats out of pace, way too fast and with a blood pressure that is way too high. He is feeding me pills that are supposed to take the pressure off the heart so that I won’t have to worry about aneurisms and heart failure…. That kind of worries me! I have for last few days been feeling the cold breath of the grim reaper right behind me. I am going to a cardiologist who will find out to what extend my heart has been worn down…. That worries me a lot! All in all I am not doing so damn hot these days. I hope you forgive me for being a bit absent minded.
Took the ride to check up on our friend, seems to be doing very well ! iso 3600 but cleaned up ok.

Helllllloooooooo, hellllloooo, helloooooooo.., can anybody hear me?
I have been having a fight with the grass pollens that do not seem content to bloom one time and get it over with ....apparently they bloom each month or some ridiculous thing and they are rather invasive to my lungs which rebel violently. The beginning of May i spent 7 days with NO voice....which made it rather difficult to communicate and even my own mom had no idea who i was when i called to wish her a happy Mother’s Day!
Last week i began with similar symptoms and thought .“What fresh hell is THIS?” to quote Sheldon. I immediately went to my weather app and sure enough...an over abundance of grass pollen....AGAIN. No problem...i was leaving for jersey in 24 hours....except....NJ grass pollen count was as high as mine in NC! Within 24 hours, i was hacking up a lung ....7.5 hours of driving and coughing constantly...gave me a headache that made me want to cry...i was coughing so much i could not lay down to sleep and at 5am finally gave up and got about 2 hours sleep in a recliner...then off to dracula for blood work. Wednesday i could not keep my eyes open so after running errands i took a nap that lasted 3.5 hours, minimal coughing...but then sleeping at night was gong to be an issue so i made friends with a bottle of NyQuil to get me some sleep so that i could see the doctor for my annual check up Thursday morning....where, she told me i was in REALLLLLY good health other than a left lung full of Bronchitis ick!
i think i am finally on the mend....the coughing is abating and i am heading into day 3 of Zpac!
Now i just need to eradicate all grass from my surroundings and i will be just fine!!! Maybe a tent on the beach is in order.....
My wife had a dental check-up appointment this morning and as I wasn't golfing I drove her over to Troon and whilst she was there I took a walk along the Ballast Bank with it's great views across the sea!
The weather wasn't like yesterday's sunny day and our forecast was for lots of rain in the afternoon and I can confirm, thankfully, from home that it is now pouring down with rain!!

Masks still aren't compulsory for Covid-19 here in the UK, but they are encouraged in doctor's surgeries and probably hospitals (Tim has a check up next week), so we are showing you our chosen masks that have just arrived! we have two each. I can imagine how uncomfortable it would be wearing them for long periods and we probably won't wear them very often. We've been told there is much less risk of passing anything on when just walking past someone outside in the street, so we'll just carry them with us and put one on when we are inside somewhere. They are more for us to stop giving someone else the virus than to protect us.
What are the rules in your part of the world?
They might not be worn much, but at least we're ready to rob a bank now!!
Dragonflies today, taken yesterday, managed to get some of the Migrant Hawker at last, seen loads of them flying but hadnt seen any settle, until yesterday.
Louis seems alot happier, he is back home, had to have some more stitches on his throat and some more mesh put in for healing, hopefully he will be eating soon, will go back to Great Ormond St, next week for a check up
While I'm happy Annik is finally here, after opening her box I first did a quick check-up looking for glaring flaws. So far I discovered none, though I found a very minor one.
I plan to take her out of her box and play with her on the weekend. If nothing else pops up, then I will simply be happy to have her and enjoy her.
I took my wife to the dentist for her check-up and thankfully no problems, at all! It gave me a chance to go down to the seafront to catch some photos and catch the end of a reasonably nice day!!
I even managed a full run of golf, this morning with no weather interuptions!!

No... not that kind of visitation .... just me.... checking up on the black vulture couple and their eggs. Not looking good. Mama Vulture is still there but I only saw one egg, and it looked like pieces of the other... but no baby vulture. Very sad. : (
Also sad....making it halfway through your hot yoga class and realizing you forgot to bring water with you. Oh. God.
Still holding hope for the remaining vulture egg. I so want to see the baby vulture.
Three-year-old orangutan Redd and his mother Batang get their morning check up at the National Zoo in Washington DC.
So, last week I met a guy. We ended up having sex.
He was good looking, nice and so we swapped phone numbers.
All well and good.
Then on Friday I get a message.
“I got tested positive for Syphilis, you need to get checked out. Sorry.”
(there was more in the message, but that’s all I saw).
So, being the cosmopolitan city boy I am, I trotted along to the clinic on Monday morning for a check up.
The doctor said it would be too early to see any symptoms or even find any antibodies, but I do have the option of getting treated for it – as a pre-emptive measure.
So I figure, okay, it’ll be two tablets and glass of water. So I agreed.
A nurse comes and takes all the swabs, blood tests and samples given – I know the routine. I’ve get an M.O.T. regularly.
Later I get called by a different nurse. She says she has been assigned to give me the treatment.
“Have you had it before?”
“No”, I say
“Oh, well there is no way to suger-coat it. Its going to hurt”
-two tablets and a glass of water? Hurt?
And out come the needles. Two of them. One for each buttock.
And she was right, it did hurt. Really hurt.
Will I see the guy again? I value honesty and respect above all else.
I think a “round two” might be in order. Well ,,, after the injection does its job.

Planned Actions for Next Operational Period:
Resources in Branch I - Conducting structure protection and scouting additional opportunities of containment locations.
Resources in Branch II - Crew and mechanized equipment will continue to place fireline along previous line created during
the Alpine Fire in 2003.
Resources in Branch III - Continue to implement Structure Protection actions and continue to evacuate public as resources continue to arrive at the incident. PSD work is being used to check up fire in a Cargodera Canyon along an unusable road leading up to Mt Lemmon. Air tankers continue to drop retardant in strategic location near Mt. Lemmon and the Sky Center Observatory.
Utilize night shift to monitor fire spread and engage in direct suppression if values at risk are threatened.
Active fire behavior during today's shift is expected to remain well into the night. Fire will be in the area of Mt. Lemmon Sky Center and Canada del Oro. As overnight temperatures and humidity lower so will fire behavior. Continued upslope and northeasterly flanking fire within Cargodera Canyon. Moderate runs in the brush within the middle third of Romero Canyon are expected to continue into the early morning. This fire will likely continue around Romero Pass and beyond Cathedral Rock.
Ala knows that he is close to her form how she can feel the butterflies in her tummy. But she can not let her love for him show if they gods wore to find out or if the school found out she was not really a 16 year old girl... and she lost her staff and with out that she can not use magic and may not be able to brake the seal or stop the darkness. Pore thing dose not know what to do.
Capt. Roberts knows that his true love is close he knows she may be a angel but his love for her will not let him just let her fly off in to the wind never to be seen again. After they had spent that one and only night together he has been empty and only her love can make him feel full once more for he knows he can only love her and no other will do.
He all so knows his little Daughter is close by and thinks it might be a good time to check up on her after all he is worried about having her go to a school that keeps her so far away ^_^
Kita is dreaming about a Happy Furry Friday all over the world for people and animals everywhere.
I'm a little worried about the black spots growing under her chin and beside her nose and will be taking her to the vet later this morning for her first check up..
Sorry for the inconvenience of being absent lately. Guess its just the time as being a student that is withholding me from photography these times, don't know why and for how long.
I will however try my best on checking up your streams, but busy times ahead and nothing is certain these days.
What is curtain, is that shot definately is one of my favorites!

Day 3!
Our rescue dog Gunner had a check up today so I decided I would bring him to work with me.
He did great so I think I might start bringing him with me more often.
After we got home I thought I would get some fun photos of him playing in snow for today's photo and after some coaching I was able to get him to run right at me with the sun at his back.

...and indeed how sweet it is to be at it again. I know that many of you can relate to the feeling of being back in "artisticville".
Shot with the Ansco Viking 6.3, which is in my previous post. So much of shooting it (and, well, all of the cameras I use) is mostly an educated guess. It took me a little while to "find the groove" again; that makes the shot just that much sweeter to me.
Okay, now I'm on to checking up on the happenings of Flickr since my last visit...
Thanks, Janet L. Swanson Wildlife Health Center vets and staff, for taking great care of our E3! Many thanks, also, to Hollie and Victoria, and all mods. This is offered with love and humor.
The darkness about Madame Pamplemousse’s basement has never been gloomier. Night never falls, and therefore morning never comes, but Brain and Mallah force themselves into a restless and unsatisfying slumber nonetheless. Mallah watches a draft gently blow a cobweb in the void’s non-existent breeze and gradually feels the welcoming solace of sleep creep over him. His master isn’t so lucky.
Brain stares ahead at the wall, his mind empty. He could think of a way out of here, surely? He’d get out, find those who had wronged him, make sure they pay for the torment they had caused. But his mind is empty, and such thoughts do not come. From above he hears movement, and soft footsteps begin to grow louder as they approach the basement. Madame Pamplemousse come to check up on them, Brain reasons. The footsteps stop before the door and Brain listens carefully as he hears someone struggling to unlock it. Something isn’t right.
Brain: Mallah! Mallah!
But the sleeping Mallah doesn’t hear. The jangling of keys ceases and Brain listens as the door slowly swings open. He can’t be sure, but if he had hairs they would most likely be stood on end. Clumsy footsteps fill the air behind him as someone descends into the basement, and he realises suddenly whoever it is trying not to be heard. The footsteps reach the last step and vanish, and a few moments later a face just about appears within Brain’s view. It’s a toady looking thing, round and squashed with small button eyes and a mouth that must be as dry as the Gobi Desert from the amount of time it constantly hangs open. Relief floods over Brain as he realises it’s only Little Pierre. He considers addressing him out of politeness – after all, this is the first time he’s come down here – but holds his proverbial tongue as he realises Little Pierre hasn’t come down here for a chat.
Brain says nothing, watching intently as Little Pierre frowns unhappily and reaches into his pocket. He so wants to speak, to shout as loud as he can for help, but knows no one will hear him. No one, that is, who would care.
Humiliated by a small child, how degrading.
Little Pierre removes his lump of a hand out of his pocket, producing a black marker pen. He looks up at Brain, a glob of saliva dripping from his mouth, and places his feet on the base of Brain’s casing. Steadying himself, he removes the lid of the pen, thinks for a moment and scrawls something across the Brain’s jar with what could only be described as a dim smirk across his face. After a few seconds he steps back, admiring his handiwork.
Little Pierre: Smile.
And with that, he pockets the pen, skips carefully up the stairs and closes the door slowly behind him, leaving Brain once more alone in the torment of the non-existent night.
One of three more candid shots taken at the shopping centre yesterday.
Thanks for visiting, much appreciated.

But it isn’t over.
My armour damaged, my nose bleeds....yet I still stand firmly. Friends around me may have fallen, but I feel the electricity surging through my veins.
Then Igarashi stands up as well, his face heavily scarred. He tries to use his “powers” on me, but he fails to do so when I’ve finally got a hold—as I shock him right on the spot. It's over for him. Connor, covered in dust and grime, rises but behind him, knocking Igarashi on his feet.
Now the student looms over his defeated sensei, huh, well played. I couldn’t be more glad to see him alive, my older brother. He was holding a staff, despite the rough, scarred edges, in his left hand, and the katana on his right. Even if I can't see through his mask, I could picture how his eyes would look like, being ready to execute him right away.
Connor: “This is over, Igarashi. You’ve used up your powers, and it’s out of your reach for the katana to be understood. This is a relic to be respected. Worse yet, you lied to us far too long. You have committed so much heinous crimes for too long. Ambition for power and all that... ”
Igarashi: “Yes—-young one.....yes! I conspired against you....because possessing the sword meant I would ascend to the highest rank of the crime families! I wanted more power....the ability of a superhuman.....but you had to stop me! You have given yourself to the cause of your family and friends more than us!”
Connor: “Unfortunately you misused it, and that’s not how it works. Abusing the greatest thing the guild ever stood for: honour. I’m sorry, but you’re going to—“
Igarashi: “Die?! Fine, go ahead and kill me! Do not forget who trained you? Who raised you to become the man today?!”
Oddcrow: “Wait! Cease your fighting at one! Dusksmoke, you’re not going to kill your sensei! I only did my part to protect you....I thought sacrifice was a way out.”
Connor: “Yes. But I’m holding back. People like him don’t deserve death like this, despite the actions he’s done. But he did have a hand in raising me. I guess I’m going to call it fair. In fact, you’re the one to make a choice. Because you’re going to be the next leader. You were my sensei after all. This isn’t a matter of his nationality or race, but I believe you have potential and true leadership. My fellow guild, would you agree?”
Assassins: “Yes. We vote in favour. He....is our new leader.”
Oddcrow: “Alright. He’ll be exiled. To an island where he will be spending the rest of his life. Take him away.”
Igarashi: "Wait--no, you can't do this! You will regret this! I will come back! I will have more power, and I will wield the katana however I see fit! Dusksmoke, you will pay!"
Connor: "No, you won't. I'll make you won't see the light of day if you try to ever make a return. Your last days and fate will be a collective judgement. Send him off, please."
***
Oddcrow: “Well, I guess this isn’t too bad after all, from a schoolteacher to a guild master....”
Dustsmmoke: “Nah, it’s good. You ever seen a cybernetic warrior going around doing stuff? That’s what I did....I saved children. From the Spectres.”
Oddcrow: “All these years, we were mistaken on the wars from the outsiders. However with Connor’s faith, he managed to bring us together. To shape a better guild. Because we’re not killers, exactly.”
Ty: “That’s honourable.”
Erin: “Yes. And will his old classmates and best friends, I can't wait for our big reunion”
Ty: “Glad to know you’ve got my back, like Avalon does.”
Sam: “This is where we’re leaving off, are we? To save the day again!”
Edens: "Well, I can't exactly leave you hanging at the end of every mission like that, fill the paperworks and---
Riley/Jesse: “C’mon Doc, at least give us the holiday back!”
Edens: “Right, right....vacation continues. No disruptions. Only if it's emergency. Two weeks, sound good?”
Kieran: “Let’s call for a celebration. Let's cheer ”
Oddcrow: “You are granted an extended stay in Japan. Go anywhere you want, how about that too? For Avalon, you are deemed worthy and you can come whenever you please. You have gained our trust. We are in your debt and would be gladly to call you allies.”
Edens: "For sure, we have your word. Now we gotta...clean up a bit before alerting the agency."
Harry: "Well, least to say I'm done killin' anyone for the night."
***2 days later, at Edens' Japanese penthouse:***
Ty: “Maybe I could take a look at the ancestry books, considering I’ve got my heritage here.”
Erin: “I’m sure you’ll love finding them here, Shiro.”
Ty: “Since when did you start calling me that again? Oh, and yeah, maybe I could bring gran and mom here one day...maybe even my sister.”
Erin: “Sure, family’s fun. I don’t know. Maybe since the first day? I had a big crush on you when we got to elementary. I think's it's cute.”
Ty: “That’s....makes sense. I knew I laid eyes on you since we met. I love you, Erinbug.”
Erin: “I love you, too, Ty.”
Connor: “Ahem, good chemistry, you two. I knew that’s why I aced every test in science class. Sensed it in the air around me. Couldn’t hold back before you wanna kiss, cuz I had to bring the gang back together like a glue.”
Erin: "I remember how you liked me for a while before it ended up a wingman for him."
Connor: "I was very helpful wasn't I? Crush turned into one of the best friendship. I helped you get notes for him. You know, just anything to impress. Ty, I helped both of you. Give me some credit."
Ty: “Very funny. You sound just like your brother.”
Jesse: “Well, Arden genes, hermano! Except for the fact when the other team’s gone around town. Gary and the ladies are going crazy at shopping, man.”
Edens: “Well, it seems like this is definitely elementary reunion after all. I got a question stuck in my head since then....have you actually considered it yet, Dusksmoke? On our offer?”
Connor: “Oh, on that? l’ve thought it through. Oddcrow’s a better leader than I am. Though for me, I could work solo even if there’s nowhere to go....and my friend’s still in hospital.”
Jesse: “We’ve got a spot up for you if you need it.”
Sam: “Could always lend a hand in Japanese weapon mastery and those herbs of yours, so I can work on medical stuff with Kurt and co.”
Connor: “Hmm, that’d be interesting.”
Ty: “You’ve proven yourself too, earned a worthy spot. Avalon deserves a sixth member just like Gamma....turns out it might be you now, Connor. Which makes you 11, sort of.”
Connor: “I’m game. This is might fight now, since guild stuff is gonna have to reform and change in time. Guess I do have a lot to catch up in what you guys do, eh? Wait, is that Agent Khattar?”
Khattar: “In the flesh, agents. I’m sorry if I’m interrupting a nice reunion, but I’m here to announce I’m officially in on the Paladin stuff.”
Edens: “Just before you all get surprised, Navin’s now a partner with Paladin. He might belong to Interpol, but we secretly had an agreement to benefit conditions on our terms. Again, I'm sh*t at keeping it secret.”
Harry: “Though the boards would never agree...I’ll still play it through. Cheers.”
Khattar: “Cheers to you too. I’m sure it is going to be fine, a promise is a promise—-it’ll be confidential. I trust all of you given your defense in Tokyo and the countries you hopped on fighting. But as I suspected, that there are bigger hands behind what we’re looking at. They might be planning something....and your business friend is in danger.”
Edens: “Mason? He’s doing fine....but he’s been strange as always.”
Khattar: “Then you’ll have to keep an eye on him. For now, I will leave you guys be. Have fun! And also, Dusksmoke, your friend is doing alive and well. Go check up on her when you have the time.”
***
Board member: “And he’s officiated? Wonderful. For this event, I will not hold regard or remorse, but you should have let us know, Remus."
Edens: “Yes. Dusksmoke was always one of ours. He’s been playing the mole this whole time.
Raze: “Pfft, fine. You have it off easy this time since it's the Paladin council deciding together. But I will not tolerate your secrets being kept from us, privately and personally as a high ranking official. There will be no next times. You know what the
consequences, don’t you Avalon?”
Ty: “Of course. I’m proud to lead this team, ma'am.”
Raze: “And the Interpol agent....he’s an ally too?”
Erin: “Precisely.”
Raze: “What about the sword?”
Harry: “In the care of the guild. We know who the White Ninja is....will send in the details later.”
Sam: “But yes, allow us to have this holiday first....the job can come in for a bit.”
Raze: “Approved. You are now dismissed. Raze and council out.”
Once we disconnected with the leaders, we were left to our own. What a relief. There’s so much questions to ask. So much answers to be sought—-which means there are deep mysteries yet are unsolved.
I know it isn’t over yet, but I’m glad that I’ve found my brother, who I deeply miss, a boyfriend who I truly love, and my friends getting together, at full circle. The experiences of saving lives have never been better.
But I can always assure to the world, that Paladin is needed, no matter what cost or conflict there is....
We’ll be there.
