When I finished with this it just looked to plane, so I dragged it through Topaz and I'm kinda liking it now.

Went to the Veteran's Clinic today for a check up and to get my first shot. The line was a little long but there was another old sailor behind me and we killed the time with old Navy stories. The shot was no big deal and the nurse giving it really knew what she was doing. Didn't feel a thing. Just in time too. Guess you saw on TV where our great Governor of Texas said "no one has to wear a mask after next week and all businesses can open".

Happy Week End every one

Why are sea lions teeth black?

Sea lions teeth are black or dark brown. Sea lions do not have enamel on their teeth like us. Instead, they have a natural bacteria that builds up when they are young and helps protect the teeth.

Symbiotically, the bacteria living in their mouths cleanse their mouths and the sea lion provides them with an environment to live in.

Found abandoned by a young neighbor 3 days ago. The girl's parents would not allow the dogs to stay in their home for more than a few hours, so, along with another neighbor we took them to my vet for check-up and vaccinations. They are being dewormed, are mange free, and have been treated for a huge flea infestation. We were able to get a rescue group (K-9 Angels) to sponsor them. They will be available for adoption once they have had their second round of vaccinations, in the meantime my neighor who shared the cost of vetting with me is fostering them.

"Hi there !!!

Yip, it's me again….brand new ……

And I'm feeling good !!!

Had such a great time last night, you too?

I will be visiting 'Dr. Wizard' and 'Mrs. Witch' at their secret home planet to thank them and for my first check-up …

So by, by for now and enjoy your life….."

The morning of my departure back home out west walking through the new and very nicely done terminal B at New York’s La Guardia Airport, I stepped up the heating/cooling grates to eliminate some (not all) of the lighting reflections to capture the eastern sky as the sun rose. A wonderful cacophony of warm tones in the skies. Spent a sweetie me more time with my girls and folks getting my bi-annual check up with my surgeon unfortunately bringing back an unexpected stow away, what appears to be a strain of pain influenza virus, been laid out for 3 days…- [ ] #developportdev @gothamtomato @developphotonewsletter @omsystem.cameras #excellent_america #iphone13pro @apple @bheventspace @bhphoto @adorama @tamracphoto @tiffencompany #usaprimeshot #tamractales @lgaairport @nycurbanism @nycprimeshot @nybucketlist #sunriselover @kehcamera

"Peeping Tom! How dare you disturb me while I'm incubating my eggs!"

The nest box was originally meant for Kestrels, but as the newly planted pine forest grew up around it, Kestrels stoped using it and little screech owls took over. This little mom and her red phase mate have been using this box for several consecutive years.

Once per nesting season our Audubon nest box monitoring people check up on the boxes to see if they need maintenance, or have a young family using it. We do not band, measure or otherwise harass the birds.

My Robin looks for something good..

Taking the dogs to the vets soon so I’m in a rush to post this photo I did last night. It’s only the dogs annual check up but it’s starting to be a thing. They are both getting on now with Toby 16 and Oscar 13 and they are starting show their age. It was worth waiting for a bit of light on this holly bush on a recent ascent before and carried on panting to the top, I needed a breather anyway.

This is our persian cat Rosie.

Totally relaxed after been to the vet for a check up.

This is my upload nr. 100! Woohooo!! :)

Not long back from Di and Erin's check up with our Oncology specialist. Once again Di has the all clear - that is 25 years (on 24th December) since her first diagnosis. We now also know that Erin doesn't have the gene mutation thought to be responsible for Di's breast cancer. We already knew that Louise doesn't have the mutation.

A quick post and run as I have to get our evening meal ready. I will catch up this evening or tomorrow morning.

Tobia checking up the truffles he found.

He is a Lagotto Romagnolo dog.

This is the only breed of dog that is officially recognized as specialized in truffle hunting.

Yesterday Bastian had his annual check up and vaccination. Our vet likes him a lot, but advised to cut down on the food. Bastian did not agree... ;)

I take Charlie in for a check-up on Monday. He has been doing really well since his diet change to the renal food.

I have noticed he gets exhausted quicker, so I limit the amount of stimuli. It seems the more adventurous our walks or new things he sees the quicker he gets tired and will then crash the next day.

So as well as a diet change he has also had a lifestyle change but don't worry I still make sure he has his walks, bike rides and canoe rides, only now I put a limit on the time we spend doing these activities.

Once upon a time I was single and had nobody to please but myself. In those days all it took to keep me happy was an old rusty Chevrolet pickup truck, a little old house out in the country, and a motorcycle in the shed. The truck was always needing a little attention but hey, it was easy to work on, parts were cheap, and I was loving every minute of it. With an inline six you could easily get at everything under the hood. Three or four wrench sizes seemed to cover about everything and parts were cheap and readily available. You never had to worry about where you parked it or scratching the bed, or any such nonsense. You could haul a wet dog on the seat and it was no big deal. You could even sleep on the seat if you needed to. Oh my, life was so simple. You didn’t have to be a millionaire to afford things neither. You didn’t need a bunch of stuff no how. What happened? Maybe I need a check up from the neck up. :-)

Last night I was constantly checking out the window as the afternoon snow had turned to rain, I did not give up hope though ! .Yesterday afternoon we took our dog Lowena for her yearly check up and vaccinations, sadly she had an adverse reaction to the booster last night, we had to speak to the animal hospital late last night who were reassuring and another trip to the vet could have been on the cards this morning instead of a trip out to find snow .

So as you can see we were able to get out as Lowena is fine this morning.

There was no snow at home this morning so we headed to the high point of Cissbury ring, and wow the most snow we have seen in a long time ! but given the elevation I was half expecting it.

I took a number of images to show for a few days, Jane said I was like a kid in a sweet shop looking out for compositions but we all enjoyed the white stuff as it is so rare for us to get snow this far South let alone the amount we saw this morning. That is next years calendar sorted too.

For the most part Charlie is doing well. He still wants to go for his walks and runs but I can see there is obviously something go on with him.

He will get tired more easily and some days he looks sick.

We go back to the vet next week for a check-up and hopefully his bloods have not gotten any worse since the diet change.

Vet visit for these two today, check up etc and Evie has a small lump on lower eyelid which I wanted checking out, nothing sinister, wart type thing and leave alone unless it grows.

Olive was mental, think The Pointer Sisters song "I'm so exited" lol. Nothing as bad as a spaniel waiting nearby, zoomies and spinning like a loon 😂

Weighed in at 6.7kg for Olive and 24.kg for Evie, she's lost a few pounds since Olive arrived 😂 both fit and healthy 😊

They got treats off reception staff and came home 😊

In the hospital for a check up. They have these new oxygen sensors now instead of those clips.

Eva running around this beautiful maze made of amazing glasses that changes color every few seconds. She knew she would get lost if she roamed around on her own as she had a few scares when she couldn't see me but that did not stop her from running around but she was careful not to miss me as she would take a peek after every turn to make sure am right behind her and not lost in photography. I captured this as she made the next turn knowing full well her eyes will look for me :)

A couple of months ago, we decided to take Lucky and Lara out to the mountain. As I was driving in a very remote area I saw a little dog walking on her own in the middle of the road. She seemed very tired! I stopped the car and I called her to come to me. She came and it was like she knew me for ever. I gave her water to drink and I was not going to leave her there no matter what! We took her home and after contacting the police (just in case somebody had reported her missing) and a check up in the vet's, we decided that the little dog was about to become the latest member of our family. We named her Tina.

Days went by and Tina was very happy with us. In no time she got on with Lucky & Lara and everything was just fine.

The thing is though Tina had a little secret that we found out on April the 2nd... She gave birth to two beautiful little puppies. The one is a male and the other a female.

Tina and the puppies are doing very well! They get all our love and attention and no matter what we will make sure that the puppies will have the best life possible even if that means that they will have to stay with us!

In this photograph is Tina with her daughter and it was taken on April the 4th.

An old lady had a hearing-aid fitted, hidden underneath her hair.

A week later she returned to the doctor for her check-up.

"It's wonderful - I can hear everything now," she reported very happily to the doctor.

"And is your family pleased too?" asked the doctor.

"Oh I haven't told them yet," said the old lady, "And I've changed my will twice already.."

Struggling to stay at home and not to go into hospital for past couple of days. Having to rest-up and spend little time on my feet, under doctor's orders. He makes daily check-up calls! Please excuse absence ... :-))
