The Familiar chat (Oenanthe familiaris), is a small passerine bird of the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. It is a common resident breeder in Africa south of the Sahara in rocky and mountainous habitat and around human habitation. This cheeky little bird came to join us for morning tea and happily accepted small offerings of food.

Our winter chat is still surviving the cold weather as is the Cape May Warbler and the Lincoln's Sparrow. All 3 were seen yesterday.

Dans une propriété à Rhodes (Grèce),
très curieux comme tous les chats et à distance respectable ~8 m,
elle m'observait.. bien avant que je ne la vois.

C'est une première chez nous d'avoir observé et photographié ce superbe Moqueur chat qui était de passage et se gavait de Fourmis volantes fraîchement éclosent sur notre terrasse et dans le jardins de fleurs.
Ici une image prise en fin d'après-midi à l'ombre à main levée avec la 300mm.
Je suis beaucoup moins actif sur Flickr et le serai moins cette été 2020, mais je continue de suivre vos belles images.

It is a first for us to have observed and photographed this superb Gray Catbird who was passing by momentarily and feasting on a fresh burst of flying ants on my patio and in the flower garden.
Here a image taken at the end of the afternoon Handheld in the shade with the 300mm.
I am very less active on Flickr lately and will be for the rest of the 2020 summer, I still take time to look at your gorgeous picture and comment some time.

Foto tomada en el Jardin Botanico plan de la Laguna, Antiguo cuscatlan El Salvador.
Desde el principio sabia que en un pais como El Salvador seria dificil la observacion de AVES pero me he trazado una meta y es el tratar de documentar la mayor cantidad de aves de mi pais, bajo esa linea sigo intentandolo de tal manera que he logrado fotografiar mis primeras 100 aves lo cual me llena de felicidad por que el objetivo camina, despacio pero se que algun dia lograre el objetivo
una de las aves migratorias que usualmente vive en Canada, Estados unidos y el norte de Mexico, pero que migran a centroamerica entre los meses de Octubre a Marzo, este ejemplar vino a El Salvador.
