This was a labour of love -and even the Finns (Jonathan and Elina) lended a hand.
Kenyan chapatis are a bit thicker than Indian ones - but that might be because of the flour available here in Finland, I'm not sure. But they sure tasted good.

Before Kenyans rollout the chapati into a flat, circle like tortlla, they twist it into a ball like shown in the picture. I thought it was just my mama's special way of making it, but little did I realize that almost ALL Kenyans cooked the exact same way.
Why? No idea...

This stall is well known for their mutton keema. The men are making wholemeal chapatis here. These plain crepes makes quite wholesome meals. There are an array of curry gravies, to go with them: mutton, assam fish, dhall, chickpea and others. The choice is up to the customer.
When unsure what to order, you just look around at what other customers have ordered. If you like something that you see, then you order the same. Everything is absolutely delicious. Generally, not too spicy either.
