Rough Star-Thistle (Centaurea aspera) - habit. Naturalised in a few places in southern Britain, but more widespread in Channel Islands (Jersey since at least 1839, earlier in Guernsey). A relative of the more common Knapweeds. At the edge of a car park on sandy soil.

2015 CSU Channel Islands Commencement

In 2008 I went to Sark. It was mostly sunny when we arrived but it get more and more cloudy during the day.

This is the East coast of Sark, in the clouds. The sea had this very somehow bright blue.

The light house was making some sounds to alert the boats around.
