Campion Chambers, 23-25 St Nicholas Place, Leicester features cream terracotta and a nice art deco font. I guess it dates from the 1920s. The replacement windows don't help and I have cut off the garish subway frontage on the ground floor level.

1962 Beford SB5 / Yeates DP44F , new as Delaine #56. (c)L.Murphy.

On a personal note, I last saw this station nearly a half century ago as a young teen way back in the 1960's. It looked horrible then and continues to look like an abandoned warehouse today. Given the political bankruptcy in general, of J and Z train ridership, I doubt very much if that's going to change any time soon, which is a real shame. This station, with it's high ceilings and three huge platforms probably shone in it's heyday. And if any old MTA hands are reading this, I would appreciate it if someone can elaborate and explain what is behind that locked door? I found it interesting that the lights are on inside that room, but no one's home so to speak; I mean, it's padlocked from the outside.

Metropolitan Chambers- one of the oldest surviving monuments of civil architecture in Yaroslavl, built as the residence of the Metropolitan of Rostov and Yaroslavl at the end of the 17th century. In the 18th century, the building was used as the palace of the Yaroslavl vice-governor; Empress Catherine II repeatedly stayed there during her visits to Yaroslavl.

Downtown Sacramento, CA

Curiously, I believe the last time I saw the sign the CLUB part was no longer there. So many developments in the downtown area. I don't know if I like the changes.

I loved its false load too and a few years ago i suppied the front grille for this to replace the damaged original etc.

The Green Chambers at Denbigh Castle were situated on the eastern side of the inner ward, above the wine cellars of the Great Hall. They were once a two-storey block of private apartments for the castle's governor.

The name "Green Chambers" likely refers to using green Gwespyr stone in their construction.

Mersey Chambers was built in 1878 for the Harrison Shipping Line in Liverpool, and designed by G.E. Grayson. It is a Grade II listed building.

It fronts St. Nicholas' churchyard, which was laid out as a public garden in 1891 in memory of James Harrison, a partner in the company.

The rear elevation to Covent Garden is a functional design with rows of oriel windows to admit maximum light. Inside, the offices are arranged around a glazed court.

There is a splendid panelled boardroom going back to approx. 1920.

Featuring a Liver Bird looking towards one of the two famous ones on the Royal Liver Building. This poor bird is in much need of corrective surgery on one wing. I really like the relief of a sailing ship seen here under the bird.

We should always look up in city centres. Worth risking the wrath of gulls and pigeons!
