I love hero arts and this color pallet is great. I used Jenni Bowlin paint to stamp the leaves and Copic's for the butterflys. The puruple mat is a hero arts envelope. I just didn't have the right shade :)
Sunday's challenge was to do a theater facade. I thought of the Fox Theater. There are examples in many cities. I am from Detroit and used it for my inspiration. It is not as tall as I would have liked but I ran out of pieces. I guess I should have tried a smaller scale.

Through the EMACK methodology, four teachers are trained in language, mathematics and material development. Marion Awilo, 5yrs, who is a student in Linet's pre unit class was able to read off from the chart because of the picture. Linet however identified that the challenge in the training process is that " its a short process, so we have to go to the drawing board and see where we don't understand."

So far, this competition has mostly focused on clothing and body... and not so much on one of my favorite physical attributes: hair!
This challenge, we are taking our models to a hair show, so we want to see some avant garde hair styles! This can be achieved however you see fit: extensions, wigs, even photo editing. In this challenge, clothing comes second, and should be used to accentuate your overall look.

HMS Challenger was a unique vessel in Royal Navy service — she was purpose built to support deep sea operations and saturation diving. However, she was commissioned in 1984, during a time when the Royal Navy was cutting back on expenditure, with the consequence that the Challenger was seen as an extravagance that the Admiralty could not afford. As a consequence, after less than ten years service, the ship was laid up and offered for sale. The ship was purchased by a company called Subsea Offshore, to be converted for work decontaminating hazardous waste dumped in the Baltic Sea and North Atlantic.

The vessel was later bought by the Namibian Minerals Corporation (NAMCO), and fitted with equipment to recover diamonds from the sea floor. - body spray my friend gave me, its a BIT strong, not my tastes but i can't be mean. i think that's why she gave it to me lol.

Spangdahlem participated in the 1st Mosel Firefighter Combat Challenge at Ediger-Eller, Germany, July 5-6.
www.stvincent.edu | Saint Vincent College (SVC) has been hosting the Challenge Program since 1982. The Challenge Program is a one-week summer event, held each June, for young people, ages Preschool through 12th grade, originating in the Education Department at SVC.
More young people will be able to get involved in the First Minister’s Reading Challenge as it expands to include secondary schools, libraries and community groups.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon made the announcement at Riverside Primary School in Stirling – the winner of the School and Community Partnership Reading Journey award for its participation in the challenge.
