Weekly Theme Challenge ~ Something Fluffy

The "challenge round" involved flying by and trying to grab envelopes of money from atop poles set out in the field.
You know how a camera lens can make a hill or incline look flatter than it really is? Yeah, with that in mind, this is gonna be a challenge.

Exotic car rally,The Challenge,made a stop at Belgrade's Kalemegdan fortress during its 2015 tour.It was a breathtaking convoy of 30-ish supercars.Expect more photos during week.

2025 Weekly Alphabet Challenge 34/52 ~ Hazy
To achieve the hazy feel for this shot I focused on the clock face then held a piece of clear plastic just in front of the lens whilst taking the photo.

For Our Daily Challenge: A Favorite Thing
I am not much of a knick-knack person, but I have a strange attraction to this little bird that I bought somewhere decades ago…can’t explain it, but it’s true. My wife has never been crazy about this little guy, and would rather put him in box somewhere than have him on display, I think. So it's become sort of a running joke at our house that this bird shows up suddenly from time to time in prominent places around the house.

Did a little PS work on this. The legs photo was in explore and the challenge was to see what you could do with it.
Shot some photos of this Challenger for a client. Her boyfriend was away on work and she wanted to surprise him with these when he got home.

Made from premo (polymerclay), it contains no metal, it is massive made from clay.
Mokume gane, I called it Ilsy Poppins, because the technique of mokume gane reminds me of the carpet-bag of Mary Poppins....everytime the comes a surprise :)
MMI Couples Challenge
Brice and I chose the Hollywood Power Couple, Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara from the award winning movie, Gone With The Wind. Rhett Butler was a lovable scoundrel and rogue. A man of means with a past, he has a reputation for womanizing and gambling but Rhett is a man to be reckoned with and he sets his sights on the spoiled, petulant and very beautiful Scarlett O'Hara. She's 15 years his junior but she's never met a man like Rhett, although it takes some time for the two of them to come together. With his wealth and resources and her determination and charm they wielded influence and power in the south. Their relationship was a stormy one full of ups and downs. Our favorite look on Scarlett and Rhett was the evening outfits they wore to attend a special birthday party for Ashley Wilkes. Decked out in their finery with their opulence on display they made a gorgeous couple. Their relationship was a rocky one and even in the ending scene of the movie we watch as Rhett walks out the door. Will he return? We believe in happy endings so we choose to think so. We attempted to duplicate these outfits for our Couples Challenge using the following items listed below in our styling credits. Scarlett wore a red velvet gown. beaded at the bodice, with dyed ostrich feathers and a light pink almost transparent wrap. Rhett wore a fashionable tuxedo of the day in black with a top hat.

Another childhood model which has somehow managed to survive various house moves and rough playtimes is this rather crusty looking Matchbox Dodge Challenger. I can't remember whether vigorous playground daredevil stunts or a penchant for open air motoring saw the demise of its white plastic roof but at least its blackened chrome interior can now be viewed unhindered ;-p. A decent little casting which survived until fairly recently and seeing various different custodians of the Matchbox brand.
2023 February Photo Challenge
February 13 - Flowers or something floral
So they closed the main route home for an accident and I was running about a half hour behind. I passed a really nice flower scene but didn't have time to shoot. Heading into East Petersburg, I was fortunate enough to get stuck at the light and lo and behold, there was this gift.
