Saturday Self Challenge- Milk
I don't drink dairy milk, haven't for many years. The lactose or sugars in cow's milk isn't easy to digest for some, so I went with plant based milk and have been very happy with it. www.medicinenet.com/is_coconut_milk_good_for_weight_loss/...

CC Are-Bure-Bokeh challenge
In post-processing, I started with the Frost Finished photo, converted it to black and white, then cropped and enlarged twice.
In order to maintain its position as a top-tier fighting vehicle, the Challenger II had to be retrofitted with a series of upgrades chiefly concerned with battlefield awareness, survivability, and lethality; the resulting vehicle came to be known as the Challenger II [with] Enhanced Battle Package (EBP, or C2EBP to be more comprehensive). Electronically, the tank has been given new and more simplified comms, onboard computers/interfaces, and a series of soft-kill anti-missile components. The armament of the tank now consists of a new 130mm main cannon, two 12.7mm HMGs, and two 7.62mm MGs. Additionally, portions of the tank have been granted applique armor of a classified nature to further defend against hostile projectiles. Although the profile of the C2EBP is much taller than that of most tanks of the era, it's vigilance in conjunction with the capability to take and deliver heat means the Challenger II is still a viable battlefield contender.
I did a mermaid challenge with baby girl, and this one was mine. I kind of think it looks like a 5 year old's drawing, but whatever.

I saw this 1000 steps challenge in a video by Thomas Heaton who’s videos I’ve been following quite some time now.
With this picture I needed to cheat a little as I needed to take a detour to reach the required 1000 steps. I’ve never published a picture from this location even that I’ve tried it a couple of times, but I’ve never been happy with the result. This time I had high hopes but as I waited to have more pleasing light all clouds disappeared from the sky. As exposure blending was not allowed, I decided to expose to the right and go with a moodier look.
The Realm of Avilion has been part of SL for as long as I can remember.... it's a lovely medieval/fantasy realm with multiple sims and many types of guilds and groups to join.
First thing to know is that the citizens of Avilion take their RP very serious and also their attire... If you are going to participate in this challenge please dress yourself in medieval or fantasy clothes ((nothing modern and nothing sci-fi!!!)). If you don't have proper attire but still want to do this challenge then TP to the Avilion sim (without the Grove) there you will see a book with information and free outfits... then TP to Avilion Grove to start the challenge. Oh and also be sure to have your Pirate Challenges group tag on... it will say "Seeker" over your head.
So lets get started... You must TP to the sim called Avilion Grove... this will land you in a circular information/welcome area in the center of the Avilion Market... please head north and you will come to the famous dragon fountain... continue northward and look for the Misty Tavern.... if you cross a bridge you've gone too far.
Enter the tavern and find your way to the little bar... you will find the barmaid Glenda standing behind it ready to serve you refreshments... to get credit for the first part of this challenge take a picture of yourself having a drink at the bar...
After you get the picture then look around the room for a fancy wooden door with a sign for Club Drow.... open the door and go thru...

Challenge #163: Season
Turkey is usually prepared to celebrate a certain "season" of the year, often served for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Dinner. This turkey was moist and delicious. I'm taking lessons from Wendi because her turkey is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Here is my version of Crismo Ginger's Starfighter.
It's a simple challenge from the Brickpirate forum: someone upload an original Strafighter, then 5 others builders have to make their own version of the MOC.

Exerpts From Shawnah's Blog:
....."I have always been an advocate of preserving one's culture, and having great respect for other cultures as well. One of my fondest places to visit, and getting giddy whenever I have assignments there and extra time to have a vacation is Bangkok. Recently though for the past months my favorite cultural city is in great danger. Heavy rains bombarded Thailand with so much rain, it flooded an area the size of Denmark, and now the waters are slowly flooding Bangkok. As I read the new invitation of THE Wilhelmina to be at the MAMAC for some crazy fashion and some of them modern art, I had a light bulb moment. I took the chance to coordinate with the art people there and went out of my way, to ba an exhibit myself... To raise awareness of the floods in Bangkok and even though the thais, as a race arent really cry babies and are not yelling at the world for their remorseful situation, I know they need our help, URGENTLY. I became the scale of balance, the scale that tips off whenver man becomes irresponsible with his deeds. Global warming making freak weather seems normal, floods all over the world that enundates both the human spirit and the intangible culture the citizens posses... but then, there is the other part of the scale, HOPE. Hope that one day when the waters recede and once again the streets of Bangkok become walkable again, people should revisit it once again like they used to before, stimulate confidence among locals that here is their beloved city rising up once again from the flood... a chance to recultivate culture, hear the bustling noise of the city, hear the cheerful and amiable way thai speak their language, and most of all, a chance to rebuild their spirits and set them high both as thai people and a nation..."
Compositionally Challenged week 34 is "your choice", meaning that our challenge is simply to have fun with our cameras.
It is unusual to see the moon looking so red when it is high above the horizon. We are getting smoke from wildfires in British Columbia as well as eastern Washington. Air quality is "unhealthy". The smoke haze is so thick, it is keeping daytime high temperatures 8-10 degrees F lower than they would otherwise be.
