this National Park in the coast of Huasco province is showing during the spring the miracle of the winter rains in one of the driest deserts of the world, making grow green plants and colorful endemic wildflowers around this brown landscape for a short period of time, happening in few periods of time during many years!
It has been a nice experience to me watch it life and captured the best possible in photos.

Le train européen
Hier, c'était du côté de la Savoie qu'il fallait être présent pour un événement qu'on ne reverra pas d'aussi tôt. Le train Conencting Europe Express 27924 reliant Bordeaux Saint Jean à la Gare de Chambéry-Challes-Les-Eaux par la méditerranée évolue au sud de Aix-Les-Bains ou on peut remarquer la présence en seconde position d'une voiture panoramique CFF.

El tren Europeano
Ayer, fue del lado de Saboya donde teníamos que estar presentes para un evento que no volveremos a ver tan pronto. El tren Conencting Europe Express 27924 que conecta Burdeos Saint Jean con la estación Chambéry-Challes-Les-Eaux a través de la costa Mediterráneo viaja al sur de Aix-Les-Bains donde podemos notar la presencia en segunda posición de un coche panorámico CFF.

There were 18 Monarch caterpillars on our milkweed on Thursday. Yesterday they had totally denuded one of the milkweed and were wandering on the ground. We'll see what happens next ... that's lantana in the background.

Quickly found a lone female Halloween at the wetlands yesterday that liked to pose. Shot her till my batteries ran out. Here at home had 6 Tiger swallowtails and a Great spangled fritillary in the butterfly bushes - the most Tiger's I've seen in two years. A Red-spotted purple was sunning in our muscadines but didn't come up to the flower garden.

Aux alentours de Verdun, la Meuse déborde et envahit les champs.

Visite de la magnifique rotonde de Chambéry Challes les Eaux lors de la journée du patrimoine. Ce jour là, mise à part les très belles locos conservées par l'association APMFS, plusieurs BB22200 en service, dont trois en couleurs fantômes étaient présentent dans la rotonde. En voici deux juxtaposées. Cette livrée n'est pas vraiment attrayante en couleur, pas plus que celle "en Voyage", mais ici dans ce superbe bâtiment, et en tirage noir et blanc, cela redonne un joli aspect à ces magnifiques locomotives, que j'ai eu souvent l'occasion de les avoir en tête des trains de nuit, entre Dijon et Vallorbe.
