En cette fin de matinée, mise en place du TER 883309 Chambéry - Modane, qui partira d'ici environ 45min. La BB22394 vient de sortir du dépôt, et s'engager dans le tunnel, avant d'en ressortir dans l'autre sens, et venir s'atteler à ses voitures Corail déjà à quai.

Na hun carrières bij de TER Bourgogne(-Franche-Comté), werden enkele BB 7300’en tijdelijk gered van de sloophamer. Door omstandigheden kampte de regio Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes met een tekort aan BB 22200, waardoor enkele 7300’en werden ingevlogen. Deze locomotieven waren niet meer benodigd in de regio Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, aangezien ze met de komst van nieuwe Régiolisstellen ginds al hun diensten waren kwijtgespeeld.
Op een broeierig hete woensdag eind juni vorig jaar werd na twee dagen succesvol jacht te hebben gemaakt op de BB 67400 in de Vogezen doorgereden richting de Middellandse kust. Om de lange rit iets draaglijker te maken, werd een strategische tussenstop ingelast in de Savoie. Woensdagavond en donderdagvoormiddag wilde ik enkele fraaie locaties aandoen, waarbij de Nez Cassés een hoofdrol zouden spelen. Na een rit van zes uur werd neergestreken in Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte, waar meteen een van de meest spectaculaire fotopunten op de planning stond.
Na een flinke afdaling kon het wachten op de eerste Nez Cassé en het doorbreken van de zon beginnen, terwijl een sporadische donderslag de zalige stilte doorbrak. Gelukkig kwam er al snel een opklaring in zicht, die niet alleen de voorgrond, maar ook een groot deel van de imposante Arclusaz belichtte. Een kwartiertje later kon al meteen de eerste prijsvogel geschoten worden, die zich aandiende in de vorm van de BB 7320 en vier Corailrijtuigen voor de TER AURA. Deze mooie combinatie zet als TER 883382 vanuit Saint-Michel-Valloire koers richting Chambéry-Challes-les-Eaux, en zal zo dadelijk halt houden in Montmélian.

The variety of results and processing treatments discussed at a monthly meeting. My entry's were the house (above) and the digital painting of the flower (below).

The contrasting colors in the "desierto florido" are something unique to see. I was very happy to be able to witness this phenomena this year.
Alors que l'arrière du train se dévoile en arrière-plan avec au loin de belles collines, en cabine, le conducteur prend connaissance du signal qui se trouve juste en face de lui. Un signal très certainement vert puisque, quelques minutes plus tôt, dans l'autre sens, le train Chambéry - Lyon est bel et bien passé, et que les deux trains se sont croisés en gare de Lépin-le-Lac - La Bauche.
Il pourra donc maintenant poursuivre sa route jusqu'à Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux, son terminus, qu'il atteindra d'ici 8 minutes environ. Parti de Lyon Part-Dieu il y a 1 heure et 10 minutes, il a desservi les gares de Bourgoin-Jallieu, La-Tour-du-Pin, Pont-de-Beauvoisin, Lépin-le-Lac, et donc Chambéry, son terminus.

Churchtown Farm Community Nature Reserve is an important place for both people and wildlife. It has a wide variety of different wildlife habitats, mostly hay meadows with arable fields, woodland, wetland, scrub, rocky shoreline, mudflats and an extensive network of hedgerows.
There is a rich history of quarrying, farming and maritime activities, and the site’s two quarries and the headland running around the west and south shores of the reserve are County Geological Sites. From the reserve there are extensive views over the River Lynher, Antony Passage, Forder Creek, the River Tamar and beyond to Devonport and Plymouth.

Ce n'est pas tous les jours que l'on voit l'unique locomotive "BB22200" avec sa livrée "En Voyage" spéciale en tête d'un train ! Même si la luminosité est en train de changer en ce début d'après-midi, et n'est donc pas forcément optimale, je prends !
Parti de Lyon Part-Dieu à 11 heures 50 précises, la BB22400 et ses 7 voitures Corail viennent de desservir, il y a tout juste 3 minutes, la gare de Lépin-le-Lac, le 4ème arrêt du trajet. En théorie, si tout va bien, le train ne s'arrêtera plus jusqu'à Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux, terminus de ce train, où il est attendu d'ici 10 minutes environ. À noter que la BB22400 avait été victime, l'an dernier, d'un vol de ses blasons, et qu'elle a très récemment été équipée de stickers reprenant ses anciens blasons. Un acte qui montre à quel point le dépôt de Chambéry bichonne les BB22200 et les voitures Corail de la région, avec certainement des gens avant tout passionnés ❤️

Voilà un endroit que je voulais exploiter depuis BIEN longtemps : la courbe de sortie de la gare de Saint-Égrève ! En effet, vers la direction de Valence et/ou Lyon, une belle courbe se profile, et permet des clichés très sympathiques, surtout quand un train Corail avec locomotive en tête se présente face à nous !
Parti de la gare de Moirans depuis 7 minutes, le train Valence Ville - Annecy desservira la gare de Grenoble dans 5 minutes environ. Ensuite, il desservira les gares de Gières Universités, Pontcharra-sur-Bréda, Montmélian, Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux, Aix-les-Bains le Revard, Grésy-sur-Aix, Albens, Rumilly, et enfin Annecy son terminus. Il est tiré ce jour-ci par la BB22260 ainsi que 7 voitures Corail.
Alors qu'il vient de franchir un petit tunnel long d'à peine 300m, le train n°17578 s'apprête désormais à franchir sans arrêt la gare de Voreppe.
Engagé sur la ligne de Lyon à Grenoble depuis la bifurcation de la gare de Moirans, le n°17578 Valence - Annecy desservira maintenant la gare de Grenoble d'ici 8 à 9 minutes. Tiré par la BB22266 et composé de 7 voitures Corail, il s'arrêtera ensuite en gare de Gières Universités, Pontcharra-sur-Bréda, Montmélian, Chambéry-Challes-les-Eaux, Aix-les-Bains le Revard, Grésy-sur-Aix, Albens, Rumilly, et enfin Annecy son terminus. Si tout va bien, le trajet Valence - Annecy aura pris au total 1 heure et 58 minutes.

I joined the Decade Challenge initiated by Strawberry Singh on the Forums. Both images are raw but I really cringe at the one from 2010. I obviously had not learned much about editing my shape. That chin! LOL.
