I'm finally beginning to see the end within sight. Just need to grout the tile and then I can put the toilet in and plumb in the vanity and I'll be real close to completion.

The Victoria Gallery & Museum in Liverpool designed by Alfred Waterhouse.Waterhouse was born on 19 July 1830 in Aigburth, Liverpool, the son of wealthy mill-owning Quaker parents. His brothers were accountant Edwin Waterhouse, co-founder of the Price Waterhouse partnership that now forms part of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and solicitor Theodore Waterhouse, who founded the law firm Waterhouse & Co. that is now part of Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP in the City of London.

He is perhaps best known for his design for the Natural History Museum in London, and Manchester Town Hall, although he also built a wide variety of other buildings throughout the country. Financially speaking, Waterhouse was probably the most successful of all Victorian architects. Though expert within Neo-Gothic, Renaissance revival, and Romanesque revival styles, Waterhouse never limited himself to a single architectural style.

Avery Coonley House designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in Riverside, Illinois.

I assume this is local school childrens artwork that was trasnfered to ceramic tiles. The have been made into two, four-sided towers erected in Cody Park in North Platte, Nebraska off Hwy 83.

These 5 tiles were my favorites.

Cody Park on North Highway 83 is home to a collection of animals, picnic areas and a fine collection of children's rides, including a restored antique carousel with hand carved horses. In addition, this public facility houses the beautiful life-size statue of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, the display of flags from the tours of the Wild West Show and a collection of railroad locomotives and cars donated by Union Pacific.

In September, Cody Park is the site of our annual "Arts In The Park" event, notable for its fine booths featuring handcrafted items by local artists and craftsmen.

Cody Park is located just south of the North Platte river on Highway 83 and is comprised of 100 acres. The park has many outstanding features.

A panel in the Gateway Murals. These are described in the City of Chicago Website as:

“Chicago's largest work of public art to date, Riverwalk Gateway by Ellen Lanyon tells the history of Chicago and its river. The magnificent 336-foot long wall installation consists of sixteen narrative panels and twelve decorative panels. Each panel is six-feet by nine-feet, overglaze painted and fired on ceramic tile. The narratives, which are told through a combination of scenes, vignettes, and objects, begin in 1673 with the explorations of Marquette and Joliet, followed by a mural with scenes from 1782 of Jean Baptiste DuSable and 1803 when Fort Dearborn was built. Paintings record the development of Chicago's bridges and commemorate landmark events and important sites along the river and the lake, concluding in 2000 with the recreational use of the Chicago River.”

This panel commemorates the North Branch of the Chicago River. At the left we have the Riverview Amusement Park with roller-coasters and Aladdin's Castle fun house. Riverview Park closed in 1967, and its loss is still mourned by several generations of Chicagoans.
