We use a dry powder-pressing technology to create this elegant Italian porcelain tile’s smooth but striated face. It can be used underfoot as flooring, on the walls, or even countertops. Like its pattern design, the line’s color palette exudes sleekness with cool gray hues.
Large ceramic relief sculpture entitled "Tribute", commemorating Illinois Central College's 30th year. Prominently placed on the side of the Administration Building, it was dedicated in 1999. The work was created by Marlene Miller, former faculty member and ceramic sculptor working in nearby Washington, Illinois.

Nan Putou Si is a large temple complex built on a hillside and dedicated to the Buddhist deity Guan Yin. Spread over a large area it is a very active centre of worship, with throngs of devotees and pilgrims.

Tiles arrived today so I practiced nipping the petals for a sunflower. I think I like this design better than the ones I previously posted. What do you think? The center is the bottom of a soup plate. Unfortunately I'm going to have to cut it into a few pieces so it will lay flat. Can you tell I'm getting anxious to get started with the mosaicing???
