This is a simple looking little plate but it is one of the most useful 'gadgets' in my kitchen. A recent acquisition, I'd never heard of a ceramic garlic grater until it was mentioned by one of the podcasters I listen to. I had to get one and I'm definitely not disappointed.

A recent find at a junk shop. My idea is to fill it with big dried hydrangeas to decorate a corner of my living room.
The colour turned out rather nicely on this except for the lil drip marks here and there. I am enjoying the making process but just not the glazing part. Need lots more practise for that!
This ceramic bird is split in half and has a magnet embedded so it can be put on both sides of a screen, as shown, or the same on a single paned window.
