Some views down the main street of Walpack Center, NJ. The town was slowly vacated in the 50's through *0's for the Tocks Island Dam Project which later became the Delaware Water Gap National Forest.
An unshakeable calm dwells in me
steady as earth, present as breath.
Life has carved me with care and fire,
and I have learned to thrive.
I will keep flourishing,
no matter the season,
no matter the storm.
At Dragonfly Lake, the world hushes. The spirit remembers how to breathe.

This is part of the Houston Space Center. I went on a tour to a huge warehouse to see people simulating living on Mars. If you drill in you can just see some Texas Longhorn cattle. The tour guide said it has something to do with Texas A&M. Anyway, other then the tour, the Space Center was pretty interesting and I have the T-Shirt ..:)

My hometown has a new media center. I think it very much looks like a flatscreen ;-) but i liked the structure and texture. The original building is blue, but in bw it looks black and white. Shot with a Samyang 14mm lens.

Thanks for your comments and faves, they are truly appreciated.
UP YPR60B pulls up next to the Chicago Tribune's Freedom Center which is still buzzing with activity despite what's to come. The building opened in 1981 replacing the Tribune's original printing presses underneath the Tribune Tower in what is now River North. It will be torn down this summer to make way for the new Bally's casino with printing operations being moved to another plant in Schaumburg.
