These beautiful flowers grow on six to eight foot stalks!

I put my macro lens very close to this flower and came up with this result....

Chrysanthemum ×grandiflorum( a very unusual colour)

Chrysanthemum morifolium, known as “Ju Hua,” in China is a bitter herb used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Health benefits of chrysanthemum flowers have been reported as antiinflammatory, antipyretic, sedative, antiarthritic, and antihypertensive (Bensky et al., 2004).

While I love so many of the modern roses with all their varieties and colors, there's still something very special about wild roses and their unique beauty...

Have a great Sunday, everyone :)

I often buy a few to enjoy in a vase, they last about a week to ten days.

The beautiful roof of the Fulton Center, New York. Well worth a visit if you are in the City.

The Azrieli Center is a complex of three towers in Tel Aviv. Each tower has a different height and shape - the Circular Tower is 187m tall, the Triangular Tower is 169m tall and the Square Tower is 154m tall. Designed by Eli Attia and Moore Yaski Sivan Architects, the Azrieli Center towers were built in 1999.

I frequently go to beautiful Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, California. This is a light at the Upper House where we meditate on Saturdays.

I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure. The bokeh is from the 50mm prime lens.

Some asked to see this as a primary image when it was a secondary on the life-cycle mosaic, so here it is. Have a lovely Sunday.

Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad is cruising south on Harmar Street in Marietta, Ohio. Although it's just about peak time for the color change of leaves in this 2021 photo, little is to be shown and it was more like a summer afternoon!

This place was really a fun walk through. I found the best way to view the butterflies was to just find a place to sit because the butterflies were constantly moving.

There was a booth where one could purchase a butterfly for $50 but it had to be released in their rainforest. I Know! That is a lot of money for a 2 minute rush but I saw a lot of parents buying them for the kids.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science was in the same building but we didn't want to spend the money to see dinosaur bones ..;) I saw the one in Austin, Texas and that's enough for me.. :)

Here's some information from their page

Walk through a living butterfly habitat, marvel at spectacular live and preserved specimens of some of the world’s largest and weirdest arthropods, and enjoy interactive games and quizzes. The Cockrell Butterfly Center is well known for its immersive walk-through butterfly habitat, but there is much more to explore in the world of bugs! Visit the exhibits surrounding the rainforest conservatory for an in-depth look at arthropods.

Tried an idea of creating a 50/50 blend of Sharp and smooth detail , minimalism was the target outcome .

And beauty can be more permanent than the flying spark of pleasure, soon to extinguish. Something is beautiful when it is true and good: untruth can never be beautiful, and wickedness can never be beautiful.
