Dec 22 - Cemetary in Punta Arenas

Sometime in the early morning with an eerie feel added by the clouds, we stopped on the side of the road to enjoy the "full-of-life" view.

I was struck by this randomly empty spot in the middle of the cemetary. I'm sure there's a logical reason, but it seemed weird to have it.

alamogordo cemetary and sleeping lady... "the sleeping lady" is the local name for the formation in the mountains, observable on the right... i thought it was a somewhat evocative image to get in a picture of a grave yard...

The Chinese Cemetary Association was down the end of an alley called Ross in Chinatown. I wondered what you had to do to join up... and then I wondered if there was anything unpopular about photographing funerary bits and pieces.
