Native Shingwauk cemetary, Sault Ste. Marie. This cemetary has been cleaned up and is in so much better condition than it was 10 years ago. Thanks to former Shingwauk Indian Residential School students and staff that made this possible.
Wow. It's been almost three months since I have been off flickr. I knew I was busy - but didn't realize I was THAT busy. I have been galavanting around the country for work -and to my dismay I wasn't able to take my prized posession along on all my trips - but did take it along to boston. Here are some shots....
Sorry for being gone for so long....thanks to those of you who sent me many flickr mails to make sure all was okay!
The cemetary is half abandoned, overgrown and creepy as hell. I wish I had shot more, but its not a fun place to be.
This is such a lovely area at Holy Cross Cemetary. The head stones here are very old. So many brokens hearts that visit thier lost children.
HDR, 3 exposures of +-2 stops done on a dark cloudy day which was perfect weather for the subjet matter.
I have a new pc with Windows 7, so I decided to get PSE 9. I have always loved Photoshop and the latest one (still similar to number 1 and 2 I had) has some fun uses.
I'm actually creating a 2011 calendar, just for personal use! :)
This cat I met in a cemetary last August will be the cat of ..... August.
