I was given a challenge to create something unusual to be used in photos for our boardroom. A mixture of repetative patterns, macro and colours using barndoors and gells.

Celeron, NY light house before a storm... i love this shot..

Dell Inspiron 6000, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, Celeron M @ 1.66Ghz. 17" Display.

Ubuntu 7.04, and Windows XP Home.

Once I decided to record these videos I had to make up a budget studio. It turned out decent, eventually...

As I get better, I'll know what to upgrade.

Setting up to shoot all the raw footage of the Amazon Cube review videos. I had some rudimentary lighting and sound. I figure that I must start somewhere. At the time I had a Celeron laptop, so editing in Davinci Resolve 15 was almost to a crawl, but now I feel much more comfortable using this Non-Linear Editing software suite.

I learned that my Pentax K50 is woefully subpar at recording video. I had to vastly increase the lighting, and also record audio externally. My Note 8 recorded sound so much better than the K50. (Maybe in the future I'll look for a K70 or something that will also use a K-mount. No need to sideline decent lenses.)

This is the final video.
