Although we've had a bit of sun today, it wasn't good enough to get out. So I've been either playing with different things or with PhotoScape. Though I did take this the other evening.

This beautiful chandelier hangs in one of the dining rooms of the Strater Hotel. It is one of the private rooms, which has one large table, for private parties.
A quick and discreet upwards shot whilst in a lighting shop so little time for composition. Mrs Andy pointed out the potential of the shot. So if you like it you can credit me with an asute eye, lightening 'shutter snapping' skills if you wish but the reality is all I did was press the shutter. Mrs Andy should have the plaudits!
I created a ceiling lamp shade for Dining Kitchen. I think I can improve it a bit more but not bad for version 1.

I love the architecture of old sandstone buildings.
This building houses the Westin Hotel, restaurants, shops etc in Martin Place, Sydney.
I will need to make time to explore beautiful Sydney.

Visitors step into infinity in this surreal image from teamLab Borderless (or teamLab Planets), an interactive digital art museum in Tokyo, Japan where mirrors, motion, and light converge to disorient and delight. Reflected overhead, their mirrored doubles appear to walk on the ceiling, as if defying gravity in a world where orientation becomes subjective. Light particles shimmer across the mirrored surfaces like digital stardust, adding a kinetic energy to the space as visitors move through it.
This particular room is part of teamLab’s ongoing exploration of "body immersion"—a core concept in their work that challenges the traditional separation between observer and artwork. Here, the visitor becomes the art, reflected back in countless permutations. The mirrored floor and walls create a boundless field of repetition, where the crowd appears both singular and multiplied, real and ephemeral.

A nonfunctioning ceiling light can be seen through the broken windows of an abandoned warehouse on Mare Island.
Seen at Liverpool's Moorfields underground station on the Merseyrail Network which serves the commuter belt of Liverpool, it's City Region and beyond. Thank goodness it does not say Northern Powerhouse (Poorhouse to real northerners who are not taken in by it) especially as Southport is the most northerly reach of Merseyrail and its' rail services, to the east of the Town, are being cut back in the May 2018 timetable.

My brother and his wife have been working from home (actually their second home) and are returning up North this weekend. Since their condo is about 2.5 hours from us, and it was a work night (Thursday) we met in the middle...West Palm Beach. There is a beautiful downtown area, currently called The Square (originally called City Place). As described by www.thepalmbeaches.com:

It's an absolutely gorgeous location, and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously.
However, either as a result, or it's been brewing, I have a sinus headache, a leaky nose, blurry eyes, etc.etc. etc. (read...common cold)
Soooo...after uploading this I'm returning to bed, and not getting out until I feel at least 75% better!
I'll catch up with all of your photos and offer up my grateful thanks at that time!
