I don't have a Farrow & Ball paint chart to hand, but I'm sure these colours must be somewhere in the sticking plaster/ointment/dead salmon spectrum.
The gothic temple was built before 1761. For economy it is constructed from wood, rendered to suggest stone. Inside is a pretty plaster vault.
Painshill is a landscape garden, created in picturesque style by the Honourable Charles Hamilton between 1738 and 1773 (when he ran out of money and had to sell the estate). The gardens survived into the twentieth century but fell into decay after World War Two. They are now managed by a charity, the Painshill Park Trust, which aims to restore them to the original design.

impressive ceiling at the main mall of the SM Mall of Asia. More shops have now been opened since this pictiure was taken.

Athol House is on Houghton Drive in Jozi. I saw a photograph of this abandoned house earlier the week on Urbex and hunted it down. It quite easy to find as it is close to the M1 highway taking the 11th Avenue off-ramp. The house has been completely gutted with only the shell remaining amongst all the stately homes in this up-market suburb. All the floorboards, doors, and fitting have been removed.
It looks as if other surrounding properties were demolished some time ago, maybe to build a cluster development or something similar. Seems as if the developer has gone bust and only the ruin of Athol House now remains

Habitations in Costa Rica are roofed most often with sheet metal. Add a tropical downpour and you have tinnitus. And so there are many variations on rain noise abatement - this is one of the prettiest we encountered at the Chilamate Rainforest Eco-Retreat, a great place to stay if in the Sarapiqui region. The lumber is the waste generated squaring logs - in keeping with the ethos of the lodge.

Giresun'un Şebinkarahisar İlçesi’nin 11 km. doğusunda Sarıyer Köyü Kayadibi Mahallesi’nde bulunan manastır Bizans Dönemi'ne ait. Sarp bir kayalığın ortasında büyükçe bir oyuk içerisine yapılmasıyla Sümela Manastırı'nı anımsatan yapının buradan etkilenerek inşa edildiği tahmin ediliyor. Birçok yapı kompleksinin bir arada bulunduğu manastırda yer yer düzgün kesme taş kullanılsa da aslında yapı düzgün olmayan yerli moloz taşlardan inşa edilmiş. En üstte kayalara oyulmuş kilise bulunuyor. Yatakhane, dershane, kilise, yemekhane, çeşme ve diğer yapı komplekslerinin bir arada olduğu manastır, büyük ölçüde tahrip olmuş durumda iken 2013 yılında restore edilerek turizme açılmış. Manastırın en tepesine çıkmak için oldukça yorucu bir tırmanış gerekse bile buna değeceği kesin. Ayrıca Manastırın bulunduğu sarp kayalıklarda Yaban Keçi sürülerine denk gelmek oldukça kuvvetli ihtimal...

The very large parish church of Wells. Amazing how such a small place have a massive cathedral and such a big church.
Has a very interesting painted ceiling.
