Gråsten Palace Chapel
Gråsten Palace Chapel in the north wing is all that is left of Count Frederik Ahlefeldt’s large Baroque palace from the seventeenth century. The chapel interior is richly decorated with a grand altarpiece and about 80 paintings. There are public services as well as cultural events in the chapel. The Palace Chapel is open to the public.

This castle owes it's current decor due to the work of one man who renovated and expanded the building during the 19th century.
The building can be traced back to the Roman periods. It is reported that in 780 Charlemagne could have passed by the place on his way back from Rome, where he went to have his son baptized by the Pope.
In the 1970’s from the 20th century the castle was transformed into a hotel, only to close its doors in the 1990’s. The castle remains unused to this day.
The castle is built in different styles; including Moorish and Indian. It has 365 rooms and every room has a different theme.

The Real Alcázar de Sevilla is a historic royal palace. It was formerly the site of the Islamic-era citadel of the city, begun in the 10th century and then developed into a larger palace complex by the Abbadid dynasty (11th century) and the Almohads (12th to early 13th centuries). After the Castilian conquest of the city in 1248, the site was progressively rebuilt and replaced by new palaces and gardens. Seville, Spain

A church with lots of interest, flint flushwork, brick patching, medieval and post-medieval furnishings. Fine seventeenth century tablets, medieval wallpaintings. Mrs Mildred Holland, the wife of the vicar Revd William Holland painted the extraordinary ceiling between 1859 and 1862 as part of her husband's restoration of the church.

The Library is the most spectacular part of the monastic buildings.
This is a great design for a living room. The lighting setup is stunning without compromising the room's illumination. The design colors are uniform throughout the room. The main attraction of this design, though, is the well-crafted ceiling work

Here's a lovely ceiling abstract that the wonderful Bluesrose posted within a few minutes of mine: wavy ceiling - one of those quirky creative coincidences.
