This was taken quite a few months ago when I was running the half marathon casually with a film camera in my pocket. It was raining and I arrived at this creek catching my breath while watching the raging waterfalls. I spotted a woman and her child in the far distance that made a perfect scene for a photo.

seen in the Bass Pro Shop at Tsawwassen Mills Mall where it seems many parents bring their children for entertainment, spotted this tiny ballerina enjoying herself doing some "fishing" :)
For my little sisters 15th Birthday today. She drive's me crazy on a daily basis but I can't help but to love her and her crazy personality that seems to rub off on me. Love you Shadi!
After shooting some wide angle of the storm-damaged and very broken Frisco Pier, I pulled out the zoom lens to hone in on the sunrise colors. There happened to be a fisherman on the beach by the pier which made for a great silhouette with the pier pilings behind him. The fisherman seemed to be catching Rays (i.e., some variety of Ray fish), while us photographers were catching rays of sunshine. Note the electric cables from the pier dangling in to the ocean. I presume the power has long since been shut off. You can also just make out the Hatteras lighthouse as a sliver in the far distance.
This was on a recent whirlwhind trip to the Outer Banks with fellow photographer Kevin Benedict. Single exposure shot with just a UV filter using Pentax 60-250mm lens. I ran around with it handheld for a while but got wise and stuck it back on my tripod for this shot.
Sun rays create vibrance and color to an island, shoreline and water's surface on an early warm spring morning.

I had left an exhibition on campus a couple evenings before and was struck by the light illuminating the building. I went back to see if I could capture that.
