The Kitties went sailing this weekend. I'm not quite sure who was steering the boat, but they all made it back to shore safely before sundown.

I have a photograph of The Mother Kitty watching bears on TV. She recently explained that she was considering joining a pack of Polar Bears in Alaska, but she changed her mind once it started snowing outside. It was a smart decision.

Simon is always writing in his journal in his quest to understand life. No one has read his chronicles, not even The Mother Kitty, but we're all sure that they'll end up in the Library of Congress someday.

The Kitties don't live with me, but when I see them during my trips home, I try to come up with strategic ways to bring them back. I'm afraid that they wouldn't get past airport security. The kitties would probably be mad at me for a long time after I picked them up in baggage claim anyway. Never mind....

For Dad's birthday, The Kitties paid homage to our favorite team. (Simon thought of it, of course, since he plays for them.) See you at the championship! [Note: birthday card, front]

Norman is named Norman for a reason: he was one rambunctious kitten! As a grown-up, you may still catch a glimpse of that PsychoKitty inside. It leaps out every once in a while to keep us on our toes.

Over the holidays, we circulated a lovely stomach bug. To be safe, The Kitties went for their annual check-ups. Don't worry: Everyone's back to 100%.

The Kitties protested this week's topic, stipulating that none of them is "geeky." I tried to convince them that everyone is geeky about something, but they weren't buying it. Simon was a good sport, though. He borrowed a pair of Mother Kitty's glasses and picked a book on World Peace for this picture.

I heard a disturbing story on NPR about an entire species of frogs that is dying out because of the troubled environment, so I came up with this picture of two happy frogs.
