I bought this film case about 20 years ago from Spiratone, a camera accessory store in Flushing, NY that went out of business many years ago. It can hold 4 rolls of 35mm film. It's waterproof and supposed to be x-ray proof too but I cannot confirm that. Since then I haven't seen it other stores. I had seen other film cases but not this one.

Prototype blythe protective case. Not a bag, but simply a case to protect the doll from scratches while being stored in my backpack. Blythes are durable, but the plastic is not.

The outer fabric is fancy fabric, then quilt batting in between and then inner fabric is the protective fabric so it should be white so it won't stain anything and it should be soft aswell. The top and bottom flaps closes with soft doll velcro so it can be adjusted depending on if the doll is wearing platform shoes, thick clothes or is nude. Soft doll velcro do not nag in the hair. Then some kind of straps to close it.

I thoughted on sharing the pattern to you, but unfortunately it is BIG, far too big to be scanned...

As this was the prototype I picked a cheap fabric so that's why I chose the cheesy rainbow striped fabric. ;) And the only colorful bias tape long enough was green. Luckily enough it matched colorwise and size was good, so I carried on decorating with beads and all!

Here is a prize from the unedited stash that will break the noir series. This is clearly the case of a captive audience. One for me, one for you and one for the geese. This is without doubt an example of the Tom Lehrer song, "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park." That's probably closer to the truth than feeding wildlife although these geese won't go anywhere to be wild. These snacks probably shouldn't go into the kids either. Here's an instance of starting to shoot wildlife after our spring started to green up. These domestic fowl have taken up permanent residence here, water or ice. No wonder! I met a birder who declared he spotted 28 species on his last outing here. I headed out for another loop of pond #2 and saw gaggles of geese disembarking to weed the surrounding grass areas. These are pretty well in tune with the pitcher. They must not have been really startled and I have nearly had mallards walk over my feet. Seems proper; I walk on them too. This pose struck me as a near form of communication that had not been translated to me except in their actions. In fact I could have been slightly steadier; I found a monopod for quick but steady shots. The day had skies that were less than satisfying. The sky has been bad for a while again and promises more.

Some of the foliage was really greening up in early June and some of the trees were finally budding after the later spring. I bet the parking at the park will be maxed when spring arrives this year.

I was at Golden Ponds, the Longmont, Boulder County greenbelt and rec area and I wanted to look for possible shots even though the sky had been the pits lately. We are about a month away from the longest day but the weather granted us an extended spring. I wandered the green space and took some detail shots that were available, The rippling water gone so I relied on the ducks wake to churn the water, my favorite cottonwood is brown and most cattails and milk weed is seeding the next year's supply. I shot few pictures and kept the sky out of the frame but it's presence shows in the water. I love shooting high contrast scenes with this camera and lens.

Possibly the last in my series of Ruthton Point pictures, unless I get a really good one this fall.

As is often the case, my wife and I were chasing the sunlight eastward through the Columbia Gorge, often arriving at a place moments before it disappeared seemingly forever behind a berlin wall of clouds. Seeing our chances for good light fading fast, we threw in the towel, and stopped at the 3 Rivers Grill in Hood River for a bite. I kept an eye on the clouds while we were there, and noticed an opening just as we finished eating. We made it to Ruthton Point in a few minutes, and I raced out of the car with my Hasselblad and the Speed Graphic. I didn't think I had time to meter, so I didn't. I guessed that the bright parts of the foreground were 1 stop below full sun, and did a quick calculation. I shot a bunch of pictures with both cameras until the light faded. It felt good to catch the good light for a change.

This case used to be a huge display case in my boutique. I brought it home when I closed my shop, in hopes I could fit some of my kawaii collection inside.

Its about full!!! hehe!

And this wont even hold...id say 20% of everything kawaii I own! 99% of my stationary items dont go in here....those are stored in boxes.

I love this case. It lights up to!!!!..though I didnt light it for these pics. But at night, it looks

like a gorgeous kawaii heaven!

Be sure to blow this up under the "all sizes" tab above the pic so you can get a good look inside!

I still have things from my vacay I need to add to it as well!

I didn't think my minifigures were getting the attention they deserved sitting in a box, and it was hard for the kids to find their favorites to play with. My solution was to prototype and build my own wall-mounted display case. It's 31" x 31" in size, holds 300 minifigures, and, at 1,515 pieces, weighs 6 pounds empty.

I envision this to be dynamic artwork, showing the 300 most interesting figures at any given time. I didn't want to enclose the display so that the kids could have easy access to any of our population.
