This was a drive by shot I took while on a tour in St Lucia of this neat old place

Zoom in and you will see a yacht silhouette on the horizon in front of the setting sun.

The small island of Redonda is to the left of the setting sun ☀️

Unlike the beaches of our imagination, the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is very rainy (3.5 m/year) and the sun is rare. But we can swim anyway!

Please, have a visit to the world scientist's warning to humanity. Thanks.

Carribbean? Nope the Sound of Mull. P&O cruise ship Brittania cruising down past Duart Castle. I cruised down there myself this morning on the 4-8 watch, a beautiful start to the day!

A sunset sail off Bridgetown, Barbados.

The Utopia of the Seas (on the left) and Symphony of the Seas cruise ships docked at Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's private island, Coco Cay.

Back from the cruise for a couple of days before heading back out to travel to another island. This one I can drive to and will have Internet access, too.

It was very cool to see the palm trees on the horizon with the setting sun. The image really doesn't do it justice but non the less I hope you enjoy. View large.

Thank you for your kind comments and favs I appreciate them all. :-)

While vacationing on the Mexican Riviera, my husband and I would walk to the beach every morning to watch the sun come up over the water. I became enamored of the color palette of the vivid turquoise water, white sand, and golden reflections on the surface of the sea. This is a series of long exposures in low light at sunrise, sometimes using intentional camera movement for a more abstract effect that I found quite soothing.

“Only your friendly neighborhood Packard dealer can put YOU behind the wheel of the fabulous, Caribbean.

With a powerful, all new V-8 engine and advanced torsion bar suspension, you will be ready for summer cruising on the network of highways President Eisenhower is building across the nation.

See your Packard dealer today and experience the excitement, during our Caribbean Holiday sales extravaganza!”

Packard certainly went out on a high note with the 55 and 56 Caribbeans.

There's no forced perspective hocus-pocus happening here! This is a photograph of 1/24 scale die-cast model cars in a 1/24 scale custom built 1930's car dealership. But, there is actually a full 1:1 scale element included in the photo. Any guesses?
