Photographer Chris Larson and I collaborated on a project he started back in 2020: a series of virtual exhibitions.
This April, the theme is #Howyouseeme, and Chris and I took ten photos each to interpret it in our own way.
Each of us had our own interpretation and we didn't see each other's photos before we completed all the shooting. And yet, I think our photos work really well together, and I find it quite impressive.
"Caring" is one of my photos from the series. You can see the entire exhibition on Chris' website and hear more about the concept and about each of the images. I hope you'll enjoy! :)
Euphorbia, with a defensive resinous sap (latex) that can cause extremely painful inflamations to eyes, ears, or mouth. It won't be going in my salad and I
certainly won't roll it up to use as an ear plug! :-)

Went out to the mountains for some inspiration for some amazing stuff I'm putting together for this amazing band!
Stay posted :)

Bobby Vee - Take Good Care Of My Baby - 1961
My tears are fallin'
'Cause you've taken her away
And though it really hurts me so
There's somethin' that I've got to say
Take good care of my baby
Please don't ever make her blue
Just tell her that you love her
Make sure you're thinkin' of her
In everything you say and do
Oh, take good care of my baby
Now don't you ever make her cry
Just let your love surround her
Paint a rainbow all around her
Don't let her see a cloudy sky
Once upon a time
That little girl was mine
If I'd been true
I know she'd never be with you
So, take good care of my baby
Be just as kind as you can be
And if you should discover
That you don't really love her
Just send my baby back home to me
Well, take good care of my baby
Be just as kind as you can be
And if you should discover
That you don't really love her
Just send my baby back home to me
Oh, take good care of my baby
Well, take good care of my baby
Just take good care of my baby...........
Took this photo on my daily hunt to take pictures as I said i didn't have any money on me to help the dog so dont think im a hypocrite also even though Im pretty confident, when I shoot in a place where's a lot of people I kinda get shy

[...]Christine's own face reflected the surprise Jagger had. She bit side of her bottom lip to his words, she was nervous, almost as if she was asked to perform something as a final examination. There was only one way to know though, so her own attention fell back on the bird who seemed calmer now. She gently took her own hands off the bird, leaving it to Jagger's, then fondled the broken wing with care. She didn't want to hurt the bird further after all.[...]

First....Thanks to Torrie (trs125) for this little sachet pillow with the verse about Little Cares lost....her design and creativity...a very treasured gift from her to me!! The pillow says: "The little cares that fretted me, i lost them yesterday, among the fields above the sea, among the winds at play."
To go with this, a little quote and treasure i found, that says so much, for anyone struggling with life at the moment.
i hope you enjoy....and enjoy the weekend that has been deposited in your hot little hands....make the most of it, don’t let it down!
“I read and walked miles at night along the beach, writing blank verse and searching endlessly for someone
wonderful who would step out of the darkness and change my life. It never crossed my mind that that person
could be me.” Anna Quindlen
Don’t wait....the power is within you...............set your fretting to the wind.
if anyone is interested in trying the texture i used i will upload it to flickr later (hopefully....busy day!) and you are welcome to give it a try.....a shout back to me would be delightful so i can see what you do!! :)

WEEK 51 – Oxford Walmart, During the Remodel
Next to the auto care center, we find – as you might expect – the full auto care department. Once again, its pillow sign from the previous Impact décor package is still intact, but the formerly blue wall behind it has been repainted white. Also remaining, though, are the Impact-era blue gooseneck signs!

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
“Life has taught me that respect, caring and love must be shared, for it's only through sharing that friendships are born.”

This is the carion sans the entrails. They hang the animal in this position to remove the skin and drain the blood. This is ready to be cut into smaller pieces.

Since 1978, Italy has had its own national health service (the SSN or Servizio Sanitario Nazionale), similar to the British NHS, and based on the principle of ‘universal entitlement’, with the State providing free and equal access to preventive medical care and rehabilitation services to all residents.
If you need A&E or ER, head for the local hospital and its Pronto Soccorso department. Emergency phone numbers are as follows: 112 for the Carabinieri, 113 for general emergencies (ask for ospedale or ambulanza), 115 for the fire service, 116 for roadside assistance and 118 for an ambulance.
Alternative therapies are also very popular in Italy, and whether you require Rolfing, acupressure, aroma or colour therapy, or any of a thousand other treatments, the Yellow Pages (Pagine Gialle) is the place to look.

Flickr Fridays challenge CARE. Don't worry Rusty is just fine. It just hit me. I forgot the dolphin.
It was on a visit to Buttenshaw Park in the Blue Mountains where I came across two curious sandstone pillars at the entrance. It turns out the pillars are gateposts and the lasting remanents of 'Moorecourt', residence of Charles Moore. Mayor of Sydney between 1867 and 1869, Charles Moore held a number of local government & NSW legislative positions. Moore St (now Martin Place) and Moore Park were named after him having facilitated their development and he laid the foundation stone of Sydney Town Hall.
......more from the "cat on an unmade bed" collection....
The cats didn't want to play Christmas dress up for me......but the Care Bears didn't mind.......
Maybe I should ask Santa for a "back-drop".......It's such a hassle to unmake my bed every time....(cough, gag...)

Born in Greenfield, Indiana in 1899, Charlie Davis led his orchestra from the mid-1920s until 1935. The group's vocalist, Dick Powell (who joined in 1926, and went on to be a film star) may be heard on the recording of this song, released in 1928 on the Brunswick label.
After leaving show business, Davis ran a furniture store in Oswego, New York and wrote several books, including a memoir titled That Band From Indiana. He passed away on December 12, 1991.
BOX DATE: 1996
MANUFACTURER: Mattel
PERSONAL FUN FACT: I got this set sometime in 2015, at the local flea market. I don't typically acquire boxed playsets secondhand--they usually are always loose, played with sets that are missing things. So naturally when I saw a few boxed playsets at the flea market that year, I was very intrigued. I originally was only going to buy this Baby Care Center, since I had one as a kid (that I trashed I might add), but I also ended up doubling back and purchasing the 1995 So Much To Do! Patio from the same seller. I actually ended up using the patio set a lot more, but that's not so surprising considering how much Colleen and I always loved garden/outdoor themed doll things. The colors of the accessories on the box are a bit different than the ones that were inside (see my photos for reference). But that's not all that unusual considering most playsets have a wide variety of colored accessories. There is actually a 1995 So Much To Do! Baby Care Center, that is the same exact thing. The only difference is the packaging--the 1996 version features the baby visibly in the cellophane. This is how I know that I had the 1996 set as a kid, and not the 1995 one (the visible baby doll was why I got the pack).
CARE
I know it is easy to get scared of tomorrow
But if we stay together our hearts will find us the way through
If we could just believe in love and end our warfares
We could get lost together in so many happy moments
And we would have time to care for the ones who need it now
We would have enough to feed the ones who are starving now
If only we could do so many things that we just would not do
Because we are so engrossed in our own selfish corners
We have fucked up the world around us
