The air handler in the main room has had a rattling panel forever. Building support has been out and installed vibration insulating layers between the unit and the mount, but this morning it was just a horrible racket.
if you press on it in a certain spot, the vibration noise stops. So I took two shipping tubes placed end-to end to apply vertical pressure, and placed a collar of slightly large shipping tubing to support the shear forces at the joint using alligator clamps.
Viola! Silence.

Baby housemice in a cardboard tube, saved from almost being killed (because they are considered pests). There are six of them all an inch and a half in size (not counting tail).
While I'm planning to add cooling fans to the back of our tv stand I needed a quick fix to try and keep the 360's temperature down. First up was to add some airflow underneath the 360 via some cut up carboard tubes. Only helping slightly, but like I said only a temporary fix.

... No, I don't expect I'll ever throw this away. :B If anyone ever decides to surprise-clean my place and gets rid of this tube I will kill their ass.
