Il Master è finalizzato a formare una figura di designer che sia in grado di sviluppare la propria creatività , integrandola in maniera innovativa con le conoscenze accademiche proprie degli scenari formativi, e di sperimentare al contempo l’intero processo di sviluppo di stile tipico del mondo dell’industria automobilistica.

POLI.design e il Master TAD in Transportation & Automobile Design presentano un’intensa giornata interamente dedicata al Car Design in occasione della chiusura della VII edizione del Master.
Evento di spicco della giornata, il seminario didattico dal titolo "CAR Feminine Noun" a cura delle Car Designer Ann Catherine Lang (Industrial Design, Munich, Audi design Konzern), Seulah Park (Exterior Design, Ingolstadt, Audi design) e Rosalie Schrader (Colour & Trim, Ingolstadt, Audi design).
A seguire, la Graduation Ceremony con la proclamazione dei diplomati del Master appena concluso e l’inaugurazione della mostra "TAD Master Showcase 2016" con i lavori realizzati dagli studenti nel corso del Master.

The 'Red Soft Tail' concept design theme was created by Steve Harper in 1985. the rear bumper design was later adapted and used on the Ford Escort RS Cosworth five years later
in 1995 Steve Harper penned this pastel and Marker rendering of 2 concept trucks, one 'forward control' and the other 'normal contro'l, which shared cabs and Branding

The Vauxhall Velox and Wyvern models were first introduced in 1948; in 1951 both models, based on the same platform, were given a longer, wider body (known as the EIP/EIX type) and it is these variants shown here in this small, folding leaflet. As well as extolling the features of both models - comfort and roominess - the leaflet gives the prices; the Velox, the model with the larger engine, coming in at £515 (plus £287 12s 3 Purchase Tax) and the Wyvern with its smaller engine at £475 (plus £265 7s 9d PT). The leaflet is dated by print code to August 1951, the month the new cars were launched.
The cover artwork, in a very '40s style, is by Noël McVeigh who was commissioned by several motor car and component manufacturers for advertising material. Oddly the leaflet states "entirely new"; whereas the body was on both models they initially retained older engine designs, both being updated within a few months in 1952.

in 1989 MGA Developments, a Coventry based Design Consultancy produced a Concept Car, based upon the recently launched Ford Fiesta. These sketches of the concept design themes were penned by Steve Harper, to show hot a Hot Rod theme could be reinterpreted over a modern car. Today the concept car sits in the Coventry Motor Museum of Road Transport
