Famous boat stranded on a beach between Caol and Corpach (on the road between Fort William and the Glenfinnan viaduct). Ben Nevis is in the background... yes it is!
For once we had sunshine on pinhole day and I had a new very low tripod to play with as well so a low viewpoint shooting to show off the DOF was easy.
I must find some time to refine the hole size I'm still short of some sharpness.
No filter :-)
The pinhole was a exchange of gear with TomA, so this is a "letter to Tom"
Walking around in Soho with Rodney and Aldon we saw the cool orange walls that you see in the picture and I was especially loving the light streaks. However, there was 2 problems.
Problem 1: The wall was too high. No worries, I just lay down on the floor and got out my 35 mm lens
Problem 2: To get Aldon properly exposed meant losing all the contrast in the background. I therefore, decided to get the flash out, underexpose the background and bring light to his face
Thanks very much much Aldon for being such a great sport.

Taken between Wellington and Milang, Sth Australia on one very stormy and windy day!

I seem to have a purple thumb for spiderwort. I have cuttings everywhere, and they're all blooming and going crazy, even as we move into winter.
