The hat of Col. John Carlson, former U.S. Armor Center, and Fort Knox chief of staff and deputy commander. These items are now on display at the Camp Carlson visitor’s center, located near Fort Knox on U.S 60.

NOTE: At the time these types items were made locally. This one was made in Louisville, Kentucky by Louisville Cap Corps. It was trademarked "Top Rank" and used a tank as its emblem. (in next photo)

Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus). The Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) is a small, common songbird, a passerine bird in the tit family Paridae.

 

This Rufous-capped Antthrush, Formicarius colma, was photographed in Peru, as part of a research project utilizing motion-activated camera-traps.
