Forty domestic workers participated in the second Africa regional capacity building workshop for English- speaking affiliates on December 12 – 14, 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa.
During the 3 days, the participants exchanged information on how they organize and communicate with their members. There was training specifically on communication skills, trade union principles and strategic planning methods.
Also, the participants had a chance to visit the housing project for domestic workers in Cape Town.

The village Sarpanch gave an informative overview of the ways of functioning of the village committees that have helped Gangadevipally emerge as a model village.
